Story
Lucky is a young Staffy who came to us unexpectedly in December 2025 after being left outside our home overnight. Although unplanned, we ensured he was fully neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.He is a happy, energetic, and affectionate dog who loves people and thrives with routine and structure. Lucky currently gets about 3–4 miles of exercise daily and would do best in an active home.He is gentle with children, has lived peacefully with cats, and knows commands such as sit, down, come, heel, place, and kennel. He enjoys car rides and outdoor adventures.Due to our return to full-time in-office work, we can no longer give him the time and activity he deserves. This is not due to any behavioral issues—he is a loving, well-adjusted dog.We are looking for a responsible, active, and loving home for Lucky.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!   She is very goofy and has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet. She's really a clown as she leaps and pops through the house, even in her older age. She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home so there's no chance of her running over them.  No cats please. Her new family must be a homeowner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 6:56 pm

Story
Ginger is an 11-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier (possibly mixed with something, we were never told for sure). She is current on vaccines (she has a monthly allergy shot, Cytopoint), spayed, house-trained, and fun-loving! Ginger loves tug-of-war, chasing balls (though she isn't the best at giving them back to be thrown again), and running around the yard. She loves people and pets, but does not get along well with other animals. Ginger was rescued from Texas after Hurricane Harvey in 2017, after having been found wandering around in the aftermath, so it is believed she has PTSD from that and has been known to attack other animals (dogs, cats, etc.). That being said, she absolutely loves people and will always want attention and pets (even if she is quite drooly). Ginger is trained with "sit", "lay down", "out" (of the kitchen when food is being cooked), and "bed", and she absolutely loves human food. Ginger is a good dog, but definitely needs a firm hand sometimes.

Story
Hi, my name is Cherry Blossom! I was born March 15, 2024. My people think I may an American Staffordshire terrier mix. I came into rescue with my mom and 12 littermates. A nice lady took my mom in while pregnant and two weeks later she gave birth. My mom is a sweet girl weighing 43 pounds. She is the cute brindle and white girl in the photo array. Before you ask, we don’t have any idea who my dad is. He was probably worried about puppy support and high tailed it out of here. I am a super sweet girl. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet. There are other dogs where I am so I am use to that. Maybe I will have a big brother or sister in my new home. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk well on leash and love the water! Maybe some beach vacations are in my future. I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed and house trained. Email Adopt@thezoeygroup.com

Story
Hi, my name is Dayman! My estimated birthday is May 29, 2025, and my people think I may be an American Staffordshire terrier mix. I was found wandering a rural area with no microchip or ID, so my exact background is a mystery. (And before you ask—we don’t know who my parents are. My breed is just our best guess!) I am a pretty social boy but I have never lived with children. With that being said a home with eight and up would be best. I’m still a young pup with a lot of puppy energy. I’m a super sweet boy who loves to play, snuggle, and nap with my humans. Cuddles are definitely one of my favorite pastimes! I also enjoy playing with toys and would love a toy box full of them—hint, hint. I do well with other dogs and would love to have playmates in my new home. I haven’t been tested with cats yet, but since I’m still young, I could learn to live with one if introduced properly. I’d be happiest with an active family—I’m already learning to walk on a leash and doing great. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk on leash and love to be out and about. I’m a healthy pup, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped, and ready to find my forever family. If you think I could be the one, please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com

Story
Meet our handsome sweet boy JAX Jax is between 3-5 year's old and we think he is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is between 65-70 pounds. Jax is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and healthy. Jax is such a great dog that only wants to be fed, cared for and loved. He is very appreciative of what he has now because of where he came from prior to being rescued. Jax was found suffering on the streets of Houston near the brink of death. If we hadn't found him and picked him up he would not be there today. With some much needed medical care and love he is now a healthy boy looking for his forever home. Jax is house and crate trained. He loves his large kennel it's his safe space. When it’s time for his kennel he knows treats are waiting on him. He is very treat motivated for training. Jax walks very well on a leash and has gotten so much better at listening to commands. He can always use some additional training because all dogs do. He absolutely loves his feeding times and will loudly let you know when it's time to eat. He also lets you know when he needs to go outside. Jax loves playing with his toys and chewing on his marrow bones. He loves all people he meets as he is just a total love bug. Jax likes to chase the outside cats so we are going to say no to a home with furry felines. He is good with other dogs.
