Beautiful BLACK BEAUTY  Beauty came to rescue with a bad break in her leg that had to have surgery and is now healthy and walking around like the champ she is! Beauty lives up to her name both in looks and personality. She's beautiful, playful, and has a lot of energy so she will need a couple of good walks and runs. Talk about a balanced individual! A fenced in backyard would be great so she could play ball and run around. Her new potential family would have another dog for her to play with, and no cats - as she thinks it’s fun to chase them, not cause injury but she thinks it’s a game of who is faster.  She would be good for a family with children, as she is gentle and loving and very affectionate.  Got inquiries about Beauty? Think running, biking, hiking, exploring — if you’re doing something active, I’m in. I’m a pittie and Malinois mix, which means I was built for action and brain games. I love running next to a bike, cruising down trails, and staying engaged. I don’t do well sitting in a kennel all day. It makes me restless, and yeah, I’ll act out if I can’t burn off my steam. I need structure, movement, and a person who gets that I’m not a couch potato. I’m also super focused. Sometimes I get in the zone and do my own thing, but that just means I’m always thinking and curious. I’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle my energy. Littles might find me a bit much because I’m just so excited about life. I’m always down for a good adventure. I’m up to date on all my shots and I’ll be neutered before adoption. i would like to be the only dog in the home.  If you’re looking for a dog who wants to go everywhere with you and turn every day into something fun, then I’m your guy. Meet Bruce 🖤 Bruce is about 66 pounds of stunning Malinois mix goodness, with a heart as big as his smile. His story almost had a heartbreaking ending—but instead, it became exactly the kind of rescue story that reminds us why we do this. Bruce landed at an overcrowded shelter and waited… and waited. Month after month, he was overlooked, despite being a staff favorite. He was friendly, happy-go-lucky, and so sweet—yet somehow, he ended up red-listed, scheduled to lose his life simply because time ran out. Staff shared videos of him bouncing around, completely unaware that the next day was supposed to be his last. We couldn’t let that happen. The Misfit Ranch swooped in just in time, and during Bruce’s freedom walk, shelter staff were in tears—happy tears—knowing this good boy was finally safe. Rescues like this are what it’s all about, and Bruce’s second chance was only possible because a foster family stepped up when it mattered most. Now Bruce is thriving in his foster home with a loving foster mom and dad and a foster sister dog. He does well with other dogs (he may need a minute to warm up) and is friendly with people. He also does great at the dog park, showing off his social skills and enjoying time with canine friends. He’s lived with older kids and would do best in a home with older children or no kids, as tiny humans aren’t really his thing. Bruce is: Crate trained (though he’ll let you know he prefers sleeping in the same room as his people—even if it’s still in a crate!) A total couch snuggler Deeply people-oriented and happiest when he’s near his humans Loyal, affectionate, and incredibly lovable Bruce survived against the odds, and now he’s just waiting for the one thing he’s never had—a forever home.
