She’s a very active and energetic dog and needs a family that’s willing to take her everywhere and has a big yard for her to run around. Shes super loyal and protective but a little unsure about new people. She needs time and space to get comfortable but once she does, she’ll love and protect her family. If there’s anyone looking for a dog they can do life with, this is the dog. She has basic obedience down and knows sit, stay, down, place, here, touch, heel and a lot more. Shes trained with a prong and E-collar and does really good inside too. She would also be a great PSA dog.

Bruce was already an amazing dog, but because he's a strong, intelligent Malinois mix, we wanted to give both him and his future family every opportunity to succeed. That's the promise we make to all of our Misfits. Bruce has spent the past couple of months in a professional board-and-train program with Beyond the Bark, and he has absolutely thrived. Like most Malinois, he's happiest when his body and brain stay active. Give him daily exercise and mental enrichment, and you'll have one of the sweetest, calmest, most affectionate companions you could ask for. Bruce is about 66 pounds and under 2 years old, loves people, does great with other dogs, is crate trained, and is a world-class couch snuggler after a day of fun. Bruce's story almost ended at an overcrowded shelter after months of being overlooked. Although he was a shelter favorite, he ended up on the euthanasia list simply because space ran out. The Misfit Ranch stepped in just in time, and now he's not just surviving—he's thriving. Bruce has done the work and is ready to bring everything he's learned to his forever home. Bruce will have training that goes with him and his new family. To set him up for continued success, we're looking for a home without cats or very young children, where he can continue building on the incredible foundation he's already been given. I was adopted. Then I ended up back as a stray.It happened again. The second time, I came in wearing a shock collar that was too tight. It had to be cut off. I had open wounds around my neck. Even then, I stayed kind. The shelter staff loved me. They saw who I was under everything. They just didn’t have the resources to help me the way I needed. Then things almost went in the wrong direction again. Plans that weren’t right for me. That’s when people stepped in and said no, not this dog, not again. Now I’m safe. I’m getting the care I need. I’m healing. Here’s what you should know about me. I love people. I’m friendly. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be near you and be part of your life. I’ve done well with other dogs. Hi, I’m Tye! I’m a 6-year-old German Shepherd currently in California, and after everything I’ve experienced, I’m ready for the part of my life that’s simply about being loved. I came into rescue needing significant care for my eyes and ears, and my rescue made sure I received the treatment I needed. My eyes still need to be cleaned daily, and I’m incredibly patient and sweet while they’re cared for. My ears are closed from previous surgery, so my hearing isn’t perfect, but I can still hear. Especially my favorite words. What you’ll notice most about me is my personality. I’m friendly, sweet, goofy, and full of love. I enjoy walks, toys, attention, and being around my people. I’ll even give you my paw when I want some extra love, and my trademark grin is pretty hard to resist.  I’ve already made an incredible comeback. Zendaya!!!!!!!! Oh sweet soft loving beautiful Zendaya!!!! Zendaya came to us from Coachella animal shelter where she was picked up as a stray after being shot in the shoulder. This poor Sweet Love Bug had a significant limp for quite a while on the right shoulder. The great news is that with lots of love and Rehabilitation with her foster family Zendaya now enjoys running, playing and romping with her friends on a 5 acre ranch. She is now ready to find her forever home! We are looking for a family who has the time and energy to give her the best life possible. She is very playful as you will see in this video.
