Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. He’s a bit of a digger, but too lazy to do it in earnest. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Story
Ty is a loving but large pup, and he is great with kids! He still thinks he is small enough to be a lap dog and does a lot of chewing on his toys. Ty walks well on leash and follows his foster mom and brother around the yard and house. He can be a curious dog, but really prefers to be with his family. He can be energetic but also loves his naps and cuddling before bedtime. Ty is a very smart dog and has mastered Sit, Stay, Bed, and is working on Come and Lie Down. Ty is an obedient and happy dog who loves to play with his older brother and would thrive in a house with another dog to help teach him the ropes and keep him busy. He is completely potty trained. He is very smart - knowing "out" and going to the door when he needs to go out. He knows "time for bed" and will enter his crate easily as he knows he gets a treat. He is very food - motivated with a large appetite. Ty would make a great family pet for someone who likes walking or hiking, or play time with other pups. APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. ABIGAIL is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is about 75# and 2-3 yrs old. Abigail has some fuzzy hair with a beautiful fluffy tail that curls over her back when she’s playful. She is house trained and crate trained. She has no interest in cats and is particularly fearful of farm animals. She has not been around farm animals while growing up. In the process of testing her with all the animals, the donkey was the scariest and the noise the pigs made were frightful. After a half an hour walking among the farm animals she became much more curious and about them and calm…even with the donkey. She was a little leery of my sister and me but it only took her a few minutes to say hello. After that, all of us were able to pet her and give her treats. Her temperament is calm, sweet, and adaptable. Abigail has an allergy to Chicken so she is kept on a Blue Buffalo Lamb kibble. She also needs to go outside every 6-7 hours to do her business. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. Amelia is subject to ear infections… dogs with floppy ears do tend to have more ear infections…and she has a propensity to jumping fences as high as 5 ft. She will probably need a wooden privacy fence. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Story
This gal and her siblings were found in the woods. They are a sweet group of pups who will grow into wonderful dogs. Being part Anatolian Shepherd (we think) means they need some room to roam. They are typically laid back with wonderful personalities that get along with just about anything. They just need something to do. So lots of activity, walks and/or a farm. We just want these babies to find a great home with families who will love them and take care of their needs. Indy is a friendly girl who likes everybody! She is always happy to see people, likes to play with the other puppies. She will need all the training that puppies need but will learn fast. Routines help a lot. We know the right family is out there for these babies. She is fostered in TN but we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

These pups are in Walkersville, Maryland too!

Story
If you follow DDDR, then you already know who this sweet girl is. But for those of you who may not know her, let me introduce you to Betty Lou! Betty Lou came to our rescue as a neglect case. After some TLC, good antibiotics and 3 surgeries...she is ready for her forever home 🥰 Betty Lou is an approximate 8 year old Mastiff (over 100lbs). Don't let her age scare you, she now has a clean bill of health and a lot of love to give. If considering adopting, ask yourself these questions: Would you enjoy having a 4 legged shadow? Are you ever cold at night and think, wow a dog to keep me warm sure would be nice? Ever have concerns that your sofa may run away and a dog to hold it down would be just the trick? Need a companion for car rides? Enjoy the sound of dog snores? If you answered YES to all of these questions, then Betty Lou is the girl for you! Betty Lou is also house broken, spayed, dog/cat friendly and loves kids. We assume a man was not nice to her at some point in her life because she is shy around men (warms up in time). Please reach out if Betty Lou sounds like the dog for you
