Story

We think Granger is about a year and a half old. We found him out wandering our raw land in Whitesboro and decided to take him in because of how kind and gentle he was. He has been an excellent watch dog and really loves humans. We have raised him as an outdoor dog to date. A person could choose to adapt him to indoor living if they desired with some training. He is very food motivated and I have had the best success training him with treats. He is recently fixed and has had zero health issues. We are only interested in rehoming him since we chose to get chickens this year. He hasn't had a single issue until we chose to get chickens. I was hoping I could teach him to leave them be but have not been successful. So if you aren't planning on having chickens run around your property all day he could be the perfect dog for you!

Kane was adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He had a little bit of a rough start before he was adopted and has a little trouble trusting new people. Once he knows he’s okay he is the most loving and caring dog. He is now 11 years old and loves to lay around and bark at people outside. He also loves to go on walks and lay outside in the grass all day. He has done great at dog day care centers and has been the favorite among other pups!

This story truly tugs at our heartstrings . Sweet Rocky was adopted from the Greenville shelter, but his journey has been anything but smooth. His previous owner claimed he was too big and soon after, Rocky was found abandoned in a local dumping ground . Instead of returning him to the shelter, they left him to fend for himself. Tragically, he was attacked by other abandoned dogs. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan saw him and took him to the shelter. Rocky was in terrible shape, all beaten up and scared. Before a rescue could be arranged, his previous owners adopted him again, unsure if they would keep him. Sadly, they returned him once more because their fence wasn’t secure and they kept him outside. Rocky had only a few hours left before being scheduled for euthanasia when our rescue found a foster for him. She adored him, but due to a family emergency, she can no longer care for him. Rocky is just 1.5 years old and weighs about 90 lbs. He is nearly perfect! He gets along well with children, and other dogs. He is gentle, sweet, and craves affection. His foster mentioned that whenever she coughed, Rocky would come running to check on her. He doesn’t like being alone but doesn’t destroy anything. He’s a true velcro dog, always wanting to be close to his humans. Rocky can’t wait to find his forever home or be loved by a foster until he meets his forever family! Aimee was at a local shelter where they were experiencing 65% over capacity and dogs were in danger. One read about this girl we knew she was a must save! She is one smart girl! She knows not only sit, but paw, stay and down. She has such a loving, endearing personality with a smile always on her face. She is also very curious and will sniff out nearly every inch of the yard. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and has the sweetest smile you just can't resist. She deserves to have her own loving family and ouit of boarding! You could not ask for a more loving companion than Aimee. She has been in the shelter since September! Poor girl! This delightful and charming youngster arrived at a local Animal Shelter as a stray. I have named her Aimee. She weighs 43 pounds, is about one year old and is a mixed breed. Whatever is in her breed, she has a sweet and endearing nature. And oh those cute freckles across her nose! I surmise that she has lived as an outdoor dog due to fly bites on one ear, missing fur on her hindquarters (which we will take care of) and long nails. No more of that! She is well behaved and calm.
