Hey There Delilah came to TGPR with some serious skin allergies. We got her to the vet and she is doing really well with a change in diet and medication. Delilah is a goofy and silly girl that’s good with dogs (older dogs are consistently better; while she loves playing with her foster's one year old Pyr, Delilah sometimes will grump at her puppy behavior), cats, and children, and has the cutest underbite smile. She loves belly rubs, playing tug of war with her foster siblings and foster mom, and yummy treats. She is kennel and house trained, up to date on shots and spayed, and ready for her forever home!

Chevre is a happy, fun-loving guy who was one of the "Charcuterie" pups. He has a short white coat and the cutest bright tan markings on his ears. Chevre is an irresistible goof ball. He does kiss on the first date but does so like a gentleman. His wiggle-factor is off the charts and he's the first in line for a cuddle session. The way he bounces down the stairs will actually make you want to go outside during Texas summers. He's done great with the other dogs in his home and overall is such an easygoing guy. This boy is ready for his forever home!

Eggnog is around a year old and tries to be the best boy! He is super sweet, smart, gentle, charming and will tell you what he wants. He’s just learning to walk on a leash and is pretty good in the crate. He’s not a huge fan of baths but LOVES playing in the rain. He likes car rides and just learned to sit for pets instead of jumping (though sometimes he is so excited when we get home for the evening he forgets his manners). He is great with kids of all ages though, and with dogs and cats, he doesn’t know how big he is though and doesn’t believe in personal space! He LOVES to run on my property and has made friends with the neighbors horse. He loves being outside so a yard with family and furry friends would be best but, he would probably adjust well with time anywhere with his forever human.

This totally sweet, fluffy, snuggly girl who would love nothing more than to cuddle as much as possible, Sky now looks forward to her new beginning with a loving, committed adopter. She is a genuine "Pocket Pyr" that presents as a large puppy until you realize she's fully grown. She is housebroken, crate trained, walks like a dream on the leash, easily handled, comes when called, knows "Sit", "No" and is quickly learning "Off" commands. She is friendly and submissive with other dogs, and loves cats (although may be a bit forward at times). She is more positive reinforcement motivated than food motivated. She would do well in expanded dog obedience training compared to other Pyrs. She is an ideal candidate for the urban or suburban lifestyle, including apartment living. Good, secure fencing must be a consideration if you have a yard, as she learned to chew through rotted wood during her neglect situation. Sky is being fostered in the southeastern DFW area. She is currently heartworm positive, but will be starting HW treatment as well as being spayed before offered for adoption.
