Meet Molly, a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 93 pounds and is looking for the right home to match her loyal and intelligent personality. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. She is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a Âshake.Â Molly appears to be both housebroken and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home smoother. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is past the stage of puppy antics. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male. If you currently have a large male dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure they are a good match. Molly's adoption fee is $125. Meet Champ! This 1.5-year-old pup is basically a 10-year-old boy in dog form—playful, goofy, and always ready for fun! He’s completely obsessed with water, loves to romp, and has a mischievous streak that will keep you laughing. Champ is also a total cuddle bug when playtime is over. He’d do best as an only dog or with other large dogs since he’s still learning to share and can be protective of “treasures” (like things he sneaks from the trash). With a little guidance, this sweet boy will make the perfect adventure buddy and snuggle partner. He’s so ready to find his forever family! 💜 A little on his background: Champ is a young Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. He was found tied to a post in a parking lot, alone and very scared. Once rescued by a TGPR team member, he has relaxed and is doing wonderfully in his foster home. Champ gets along very well with his foster brother, and loves hanging with his foster family everywhere they go in the house. He bonds with people quickly and is a darling boy, very loyal and loving! Champ is healing fantastically from some wounds that he had prior to when TGPR rescued him. Champ is doing great in his foster home and would be a good buddy to a mature and large dog who is patient with a younger pup.
