Kane was adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He had a little bit of a rough start before he was adopted and has a little trouble trusting new people. Once he knows he’s okay he is the most loving and caring dog. He is now 11 years old and loves to lay around and bark at people outside. He also loves to go on walks and lay outside in the grass all day. He has done great at dog day care centers and has been the favorite among other pups!

We think Granger is about a year and a half old. We found him out wandering our raw land in Whitesboro and decided to take him in because of how kind and gentle he was. He has been an excellent watch dog and really loves humans. We have raised him as an outdoor dog to date. A person could choose to adapt him to indoor living if they desired with some training. He is very food motivated and I have had the best success training him with treats. He is recently fixed and has had zero health issues. We are only interested in rehoming him since we chose to get chickens this year. He hasn't had a single issue until we chose to get chickens. I was hoping I could teach him to leave them be but have not been successful. So if you aren't planning on having chickens run around your property all day he could be the perfect dog for you!

This story truly tugs at our heartstrings . Sweet Rocky was adopted from the Greenville shelter, but his journey has been anything but smooth. His previous owner claimed he was too big and soon after, Rocky was found abandoned in a local dumping ground . Instead of returning him to the shelter, they left him to fend for himself. Tragically, he was attacked by other abandoned dogs. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan saw him and took him to the shelter. Rocky was in terrible shape, all beaten up and scared. Before a rescue could be arranged, his previous owners adopted him again, unsure if they would keep him. Sadly, they returned him once more because their fence wasn’t secure and they kept him outside. Rocky had only a few hours left before being scheduled for euthanasia when our rescue found a foster for him. She adored him, but due to a family emergency, she can no longer care for him. Rocky is just 1.5 years old and weighs about 90 lbs. He is nearly perfect! He gets along well with children, and other dogs. He is gentle, sweet, and craves affection. His foster mentioned that whenever she coughed, Rocky would come running to check on her. He doesn’t like being alone but doesn’t destroy anything. He’s a true velcro dog, always wanting to be close to his humans. Rocky can’t wait to find his forever home or be loved by a foster until he meets his forever family! We're needing help finding a home for our sweet big dog, Hank! He's 9 years old, mix between English Mastiff and American Staffordshire. Big boy close to 150lbs, but he's really just a sweet toy-loving dog who likes to play and lounge about. He lives in an apartment now but his heavy walking and tendency to play loudly with his toys led to too many noise complaints, and we'e only been given a couple of days to find him a new home. We wish we could keep him in the family, we love Hank so much. He loves going to the dog park and lounging about and playing with his toys. We rescued him from an abusive household just before 2 years old, so some forms of touch he doesn't like, you just have to be mindful and not overwhelm him. Sometimes kids can overwhelm him and also aggressive dogs. But he is totally fine with strangers and people love him. He's a great dog.
