Story
Rocky is a very sweet cattle dog, german shepard mix. He is approximately six months. He is up to date on all his shots. Rocky is not working out for our home due to his high play drive and excitability. I am absolutely devastated to have to look for a new home for him, however we simply cannot keep up with the amount of time and attention that he needs. My husband and I work full time, and Rocky is often bored. I do believe he has the potential to be good with kids as he is NOT malicious at all. He simply gets excited and jumps and he is quite strong. He needs a patient person/family who has time to train him the way he deserves. He would also benefit from a big back yard. He does like to be around people and when people meet him they often tell me he is quite enjoyable/sweet personality. He is up to date on all his vaccines. He is not neutered as the vet told me to wait till eight months.

He is good with gentle kids and older dogs, but he does not like to be alone. He enjoys cuddling and chewing on Benebones. Grampa is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. @vcanimalservices ISO: a velociraptor friendly home for cattle dog mix Tango! This guy is very intelligent, enjoys walks and quiet, low traffic environments. In overwhelming situations Tango tends to become overstimulated quickly and will tell you with his teef. He really is SO smart and learned place & touch in about 2 seconds. Focused mental stimulation tires him out quickly! He loves to do a circuit of puzzle toys in the yard. These habits make the shelter a tricky place for him. ?? ISO a laid-back environment with an experienced human! To adopt, come visit Tango at 600 Aviation Drive, Camarillo CA or email animal.care@ventura.org. Full adoption process at vcas.us/adopt. ? Story
Meet Fiona, a young, vivacious canine we rescued with her puppies at a county shelter. She is a petite little girl about 40 pounds and just the right size to handle. She has one sky blue eye and one light brown eye. Her personality is a delightful mix of sweetness and energy, and she's as friendly as they come. Independent yet loyal, Fiona enjoys a good play session but also loves to snuggle up and be petted and praised. She's smart and curious, always ready to explore new things. She's gentle with her fellow dogs and enjoys their company. A true water lover, Fiona would make a perfect beach companion, zooming thru the sand and fetching a ball or toy. However, she's not suitable for a farm environment. She adores the companionship of her human and always tries to please. Why should you adopt Fiona? Because she's not just a pet, she's a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a source of unconditional love and joy. Fiona is ready to make your home her forever home. She is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Adoption fee is $325 Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to ask for an adoption application.
