Story
Pal is 1.5 years old and 30lbs. He is the sweetest pup. He loves playing fetch and tug of war, and curling up on his bed. He is crate trained and comes with all the current supplies I have for him. He needs other training, and has a lot of herding instincts that he doesn’t know what to do with which is why we say he isn’t great with kids or cats. He will try to “herd” kids and cats. We are having a baby and are worried he wouldn’t be good around a child. He was a stray his first year of life so he is a little shy around strangers, but warms up very quickly. He needs some leash training as well. He learns very quickly, and knows many tricks. Please look into the breed before reaching out, they are high energy dogs who need lots of attention, but could be the perfect dog for the right home!

Story
Bobbi was found begging for food at a truck stop. He had been there for a couple of weeks before our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS was altered to the situation. They quickly went out to trap him and get him the vet care he needed. He was not neutered, no collar and had broken 2 of his canines that needed to be pulled. He is generally okay with other dogs but his foster has found that he can be a little pissy if he feels he needs to compete for human affection. We’re still figuring out what would be best, only dog or part of a pack. He’s fairly calm, unlike most cattle dogs. He doesn’t seem to need a job other than being your loyal companion/shadow. He’s so sweet!

Story
Meet Piper, an absolutely gorgeous 5-6 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is eagerly waiting for her furever home! This wonderful girl is not only stunning to look at but also has a soul full of sweetness. Piper is fantastic with kids and gets along great with other dogs, making her a perfect addition to any family. Our organization will cover piper's spay surgery at Simi Valley spay neuter clinic upon vets approval.. Piper has been vaccinated and microchipped, ensuring she's ready for her new adventure with a loving family. Weighing in at around 30 lbs, she's the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. This energetic pup loves to play and is always up for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. Australian Cattle Dogs are known for their intelligence and high energy levels, so Piper will thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of enriching experiences and long, engaging walks. Ms. Pips, as we affectionately call her, is looking for a home that will shower her with love and attention. If you're ready to add this delightful bundle of joy to your family, please send your inquiry to info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org, and we will be happy to send you an adoption application. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome Piper into your life—she's ready to bring endless joy and companionship to her new forever home!

Story
Located in Lancaster approved for same day adoption text or email only for direct contact with rescuer (661)609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Update April 9 : training for this little girl has been a walk in the park. She is very good at mastering verbal command and is very treat motivated. She’s not an extremely hyper puppy, She has her moments of Zoomies, but she’s rather mellow compared to most puppies of her breed. she’s a fast learner and Quik and fearless when it comes to facing new obstacles, she would make an amazing family companion. She absolutely loves car rides, so she could also be a great travel companion, not much training is needed for her. She possesses natural instincts, and can adapt very quickly. Hello I’m Katness I was rescued with my sisters by a man who was out on a hike and noticed a van dropping my sisters and I out where wild hogs were roaming and watched them slaughter us so he could hunt the boars. Sadly only 4 of us survived and the man took us to his sister who loaded us on a transport and sent us 7 hours to SoCal where we were fed and cared for by this rescuer and now that we are cleared by the vet we are ready for our own forever homes! Im super shy when I first meet new people and I really wanna be held and loved but I was injured right before I was rescued, so I still get nervous but with a little one on one time I open up very quickly I do get nervous around farm animals, which is expected given what I went through at a very young age and it will take some time for me to trust farm animals, because I still associate hooved animals with the hogs that were attacking my siblings. I do love to cuddle, and I enjoy car rides whether I am looking out the window or laying at your feet The motion is very soothing to me. if you’d like to make me part of your family please message my rescuer directly and schedule a time to meet me I am approved for same day adoption and I look forward to meeting you!

Story
I will never understand how dogs like Lily land in the shelter sytem. She was brought into West Valley Animal Shelter as a stray and not even 24 hours later had 4 puppies. She came into our care and has shown us just how wonderful of a dog she is. Lily is people friendly, kid friendly, and dog friendly. She is a great size and almost a little overweight. Its evident that she hasn't had much experince as a true dog, but she wants to learn! Lily is figuring out toys, but doesn't understand "fetch". She is getting more comfortable with her crate and is doing great learning leash skills. She has come a long way and will continue to blossom into a magnificent dog. The groomer said she was a "perfect angle" at her grooming, and the vet says shes under two years old. Serioulsy, GEM!   Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation.
