Story
I got Panama at the Los Angeles Animal Services North Central Shelter. She was an 11 month old stray they brought in. I have an autoimmune disorder and think Panda needs to be with someone more active than myself. She is pee pad trained, leash trained and crate trained. She will go to the bathroom outside with a long walk. She barely ever barks, though if strangers try to pet her she will cower. Her and I were working on that, but I decided she deserves to be in a more active home. She seems depressed being stuck indoors with me most of the day and is chewing her toys up. I am not the right fit for her breed with my low energy and love to see her go to someone who likes to take her out more places than I can.

Reishi is a 3-yr old, 40 lb Cattle Dog mix with red fox looks and the heart of a working dog. He is eager to please, highly intelligent, and happiest when he has a job to do. As with most heading breeds, his working nature thrives with structure, engagement, and leadership. Reishi loves to play ball, loves walks and hikes, agility-style tricks, and task-based training. When his physical/mental needs are met, he settles beautifully and is mellow in the home. He is independent yet deeply connected to his handler, bonds well with people once trust is built, and will do best with someone who respects and understands the needs of herding dogs. Reishi is crate, leash, e-collar trained, and solid in obedience. He routinely pack hikes with both small and large dogs. While he needs time to warm up to new dogs and people, he typically adjusts quickly. Rehoming necessary due to incompatibility with 2nd male dog in household.
