Story
Windy is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. She is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life. She is a friendly and happy girl as well and seems to love everyone that she meets. She really enjoys the outdoors too, so if you need a hand with the cattle, a hiking partner or running partner, I think she’ll be a good one. Given her activity level, she will need to be adopted by a fun and ACTIVE family. Windy didn’t come to us alone either, she came with her four puppies, Barbie, Bindi, Binky and Bodhi, who will be posted for adoption shortly. Now that she has fulfilled her motherly duties it’s her turn for a better life. She is 4-5 years old and weighs 33 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Windy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
This adorable litter is made up of four fun loving and carefree pups. Like most puppies their age, they have plenty of energy and they love to run and play with each other. They also love being around people…they are super friendly, happy and as playful as they can be. This little girl is simply adorable…I love her little bob tail! The Animal Control Officer in a neighboring county removed the puppies and their mother from a small hoarding situation when the puppies were about four weeks old. Barbie is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. She was born 9/18/24 which makes her 13 weeks old and weighing 10 pounds at the time of this posting (12/20/24). Her mom, Windy, is also posted for adoption. and she appears to be a full blooded Blue Heeler, weighing 33 pounds. Barbie has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Barbie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Meet the L Litter: Lenny, Lottie, Levi, Lester, and Lewis!   Lenny - Male, Birthday 2/14/24, Weight 34.8 pounds   Check out more videos! Copy and paste the link into your browser: https://youtube.com/shorts/gs1FU36GYNQ?feature=share   **Stay tuned for professional portraits by Wags to Riches Photography _________________________________________________________________________________   This lovable crew is ready to steal your heart! At 11 months old and nearly full grown, these pups are just the right size—not too big, not too small, but perfect for snuggles on the couch and adventures in the great outdoors. With friendly, outgoing personalities, they love to romp and play with toys, chase balls, and wrestle with their doggy friends. These smart pups are eager to learn and full of potential, making them fantastic companions for a family or a solo adventurer looking for a hiking buddy, a town explorer, or just a loyal shadow to follow them around the house. And when the day is done? They’ll happily curl up by your side for some quality cuddle time.   These sweet pups come from an unwanted litter, but they were lovingly cared for by their owner, who hoped to find them homes before turning to us for help. While the owner described them as Heeler and Black and Tan Coonhound mixes, we think we see a dash of Pointer or Lab in their sleek coats and athletic builds. Their exact heritage may be a mystery, but one thing is certain: they’re 100% adorable and 100% ready for their forever homes.   Ready to meet your perfect-sized, loving adventure buddy? Lenny, Lottie, Levi, Lester, and Lewis are waiting for you!       * The adoption fee of $525 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip and transport fee.   * The application is the first step in all inquiries and adoptions     Canine Compassion Fund - Online Adoption Application www.caninecompassionfund.org/Forms/OnlineAdoptionApplication   Additional information is available on our site  caninecompassionfund.org   January 31, 2025, 11:52 am

Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
We got Lucky from a rescue when he was 2 years old in October 2021. We anticipate that he was a COVID puppy then given back when restrictions were lifted. Lucky is 5 now, and is a wonderful boy. He is very intuitive and knows when his adults are sick or hurt. He helped me through the morning sickness of my pregnancy with the grace of a support animal. His adoption profile stated that he is an incredibly social and friendly dog who loves parties, and that all rings true. For the past 3 years he has been in a home with another dog who he gets along well with. He gets a little jealous of attention toward the other dog but is still friendly. The reason we are looking to rehome such a wonderful dog is his stress about our toddler. Lucky is a herding dog who thrives on predictability, which toddlers are not. Might do better with older children, but still kind to babies. We are looking for an active family to take him in. He is housebroken and crate trained and a very good listener.

Story
Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Smooth Coated Collie/Heeler mix is our best guess. He weighs 35 pounds and he loves other dogs. He is very dog friendly with all types of other dogs. He is friendly with the horses and the donkeys in his foster home. He is good on a leash, potty trained and super affectionate. He knows sit and does it very well. He is very attentive and follows direction easily. He knows shake a paw with both paws and is great on a leash. He was an outside dog in his first home and a good Samaritan took him in. He has been with a vet that had PTSD and is sometimes too rough with him. He is very loving to women and also loves men after being at the Rescue for only a week or two. He loves all people and once he knows he is safe bonds deeply and is extremely loyal and devoted companion. He would be great for a hiker, walker, jogger or any one who wants a good companion to take with you. He would be great in a doggy daycare setting as he easily gets along well with all dog personalities. He is vaccinated, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He loves children with open arms and has been around them regularly. This is a WONDERFUL dog and will be a great addition to any family wanting an easy dog to bring in. He would be great for a more novice adopter as he is smart, skilled and follows direction easily. He would be a great dog for a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See his cute video.
