Story
Beemo is a 65 pounds of love, who loves to be with his person at all times. He’s extremely affectionate and a real cuddle buddy. He loves playing outside, going for rides in the car, and sometimes just curling up on the couch for movie night. Beemo gets along great with other dogs and currently lives with his 11 year old foster brother Winslow, and the two are inseparable. This gentle giant walks well on leash. He is playful and is always very relaxed and sweet with people. He is truly a great companion who just wants to be loved and be your shadow. Beemo has been fostered with several other dogs and has had the time of his life getting to play with all of them. He’s never lived with any cats that we know of, but he’s never become reactive at the sight of a cat before. He has let kids of all ages pet him and loved every minute of it. Beemo would do best in a family who can offer him regular walks to make sure that he stays healthy. He is not a highly active pup, and once he wears off his energy, he turns into a couch potato. A home with a fully fenced yard will be a great option for him, so he could get his zoomies whenever possible. Beemo is only 2 years old, and fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and kept on preventatives. Beemo is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this sweet pup via facetime or whatsapp or in person, please send an application available at www.savesomesouls.com

Story
Welcome Astrid to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2.5-year-old Cattle Dog and Lab mix maybe. She was adopted as a puppy and returned as an adult. She is now a bit of a timid adult. She is potty trained and good in a crate. We think she may not have stayed home a lot as a puppy and didn’t get the interactions with other people that they need as a puppy. She is timid of new people but she is a nice dog. She is not over the top active and would be fine with a moderately active family. I think her best home is as an only dog where it is quiet and she can get all the attention. She would be great with a person that has a quieter home and is more of a stay home kind of person and doesn’t care that their dog also wants to be a home body. She would be best with someone that doesn’t want a social butterfly but just seeks companionship. She would be fine around children. I would say older like 10 or more. A retired single or couple would be her ideal pick if she could talk. She is healthy, vaccinated and spayed and ready for her forever home. She can be adopted locally in Texas where she is with the rescue. We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Ginger to the CCPAL Foster Program. Ginger is an 18 month old Australian Cattle dog/Terrier mix. She weighs 27 pounds. She loves toys and her new favorite is a purple elephant. She has been a very good mamma dog to her puppies. They are extremely healthy and well cared for. She was dumped on a construction site and we are not sure if she was pregnant or got pregnant on the site. It was extremely hot and dangerous for any dog especially a pregnant one. A good Samaritan picked her up and a foster stepped up for her to have the puppies. The puppies are now weaned so she will be spayed soon. She is also getting treatment for heartworms and will be ready in a few weeks for her forever home. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is an alpha dog but does get along with other dogs. She would be fine as an only dog or could go with another dog. She would be great for a family that is athletic and outdoorsy. She isn’t a dog that needs to be entertained. She is very content playing with her toys and running around the yard playing keep away with her pups. She is a nice medium sized dog. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Story
Welcome Monty to CCPAL Rescue Program. Monty is a 2-year old Australian Cattle dog and Whippet. He weighs 39 pounds and is a medium sized boy. He is good with cats, kids and dogs as well. He is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a crate. He is vaccinated, healthy and will be neutered before he is adopted. He currently lives in a home with a family that has children. He was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. He was friendly to strangers and moderately active and not too vocal. He is a low to moderate shed. Some shedding but not over the top. He is a great dog and would be a great walking companion for someone wanting a medium sized easier dog to adopt. He entertains himself so he won’t need constant attention from you. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this adorable boy to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. This wonderful girl was part of a neglect case and was forcefully surrendered. She is such a sweetheart despite the hardship of her young life. She is friendly to everyone she meets and likes kidd. She does have the Aussie energy so will need an active family to keep her busy. She will also need all the basic general training as she was kept outside. We don't think she has ever been inside a house so it will be an adjustment for her, please be patient. She also spills her food as she was fed by having food thrown to her. She doesn't know what to do with a dog bed and is protective over any toy/treat she is given since she was never given these either. Any family will love the joy and smiles she brings as she is just happiness in a puppy body. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 4/4/24 Timber is a beautiful mixed breed dog who was found along with 2 others, abandoned in a remote area of Arkansas. Timber is friendly and sweet natured. This website makes us pick a breed when we list dogs, I went with Aussie and Catahoula mix, but please know she is likely very mixed of several breeds and may not have any Aussie or Catahoula at all! We believe she is around 2 years old and she weighs about 45 lbs. Timber hasn't had the opportunity to be around kids but we can't imagine her not being great with them, with her loving, sweet personality. She is great with other dogs as well as cats! Timber did have heartworm when she came into rescue, but we have had her treated and she came thru the treatment with flying colors! Being as young as she is, and having no symptoms, we do not expect she will have any long term effects; she has fully recovered. She is house and Crate trained. Don't miss out on this beauty! They are now safely tucked away with one of our wonderful foster families, but they are ready for homes of their own! They have had 3 sets of puppy vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered.
