APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. CASEY is a beautiful 48# Red Heeler mix. His given birthday is 9/19/24. He has a docked tail and a beautiful, thick coat. He will love the cold weather including the snow. He still pulls a little on the leash because he wants to sniff everywhere he goes but we’re working on that. He is crate trained and loves the other dogs. He has seen my cats and was more curious than aggressive. One hissed and swung at him and he went the other direction. We know nothing of his background. I don’t believe he was a stray off the street. He loves people, affection, and treats. He is at least part Australian Cattle Dog…very smart because of the Border Collie in the background. Can’t tell of any other breed…only a DNA test will tell. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
So SUSHI??? What kind of name is that???? A pretty good one for me ;) Why?? Because I am kind of like a piece of sushi that you can make and eat in many different ways! Sushi is about using the BEST part of the fish, rolled with sticky (and sweet) rice and other kinds of "oceanworthy" things that make it unique and tasty!! THAT IS ME!! So, now that that is out of the way..... I am just a special part of the fish, NO fishy taste! Smart and sweet and playful and VERY UNIQUE! I was found 'lingering' by the rescue in the heat of August, scared and lost and alone..... no one could see my real value, until I was saved!!! The rescue chick, showed up, leash and snacks IN HAND and I said, UH YUP! SAVE ME!! Now I have been safe and loved since then but I want my own special family.... don't worry it doesn't hurt my rescue chick's feelings because there are SO MANY dogs out there like me, looking to be saved ;( So adopt me soon!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Macy’s Marvelous Four — Pure Joy and Puppy Charm These four little ones are growing up wrapped in the kind of love every puppy deserves. Their mama, Macy, is a small to medium girl (30 lbs at most), and she is one of the sweetest, quietest, most gentle souls you’ll ever meet. She dotes on her babies with her whole heart — calm, patient, tidy as can be — and her nurturing spirit shows in her puppies. Because they’ve grown up with Macy’s steady love and their favorite two-legged jungle gym (that’s you ), these pups are incredibly socialized, confident, and happy. They’ve never known fear, only safety. They trust people, adore affection, and are learning that life is a wonderful adventure. Full-grown size will depend on who daddy was, but they may end up close to Macy’s size. What we can guarantee is this:   They’ll be loving. They’ll be joyful. They’ll be wonderful family companions. These babies will fit beautifully into almost any home — playful, affectionate, eager to bond, and ready to become someone’s heart for life. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 27, 2025, 2:24 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet This Sweet Litter of Puppies   These puppies were rescued from an overcrowded shelter that didn’t have the resources to care for them. They arrived without their mother and needed a safe place to land — and now they’re thriving in foster care.   Each puppy is confident, playful, and incredibly loving. They are healthy both physically and emotionally, showing trust, curiosity, and joy as they grow. Their energy level is moderate — they enjoy playtime but are not overly hyper — making them a wonderful fit for many different homes and lifestyles.   We expect them to be medium to possibly large dogs when full grown, though their size and breed mix are our best guess since we don’t know who mom or dad were. What we do know is that these pups are affectionate, people-oriented, and will make devoted companions for their future families.   If this picture caught your eye and made you stop to look a little closer, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always trying to find thoughtful ways to help our puppies stand out among the many others waiting for homes.   Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans.
