Story
Ever wonder if it is even possible for show stopping beauty, an amazing brain, AND a five-star winning personality to come in the same package?! Lucky for you — they do for this sweet girl! Juniper is a treasure of a dog, waiting for her forever home. Just look at those beautiful, bright amber eyes and freckled nose. Juniper is a gorgeous girl and a perfect medium size. She always upbeat and carries a smile on her face. Besides her looks, Juniper is also a very smart, trainable girl. The sky is the limit for her. She’s eager to learn. She’s also pretty athletic so she would be a great running companion. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try dog sports like agility. Juniper would be perfect! And best of all, Juniper has a very sweet disposition with every person she meets. She craves attention from her people and will be a loyal companion for years to come! She would be perfectly content being an only dog or possibly one other canine companion that suits her fancy. She's doggy selective, and would need a little time to warm up to a new BFF once they know she's in charge of the playtime antics. Juniper is a year or two old, 40-45 lb.

Story
LucyFurr is a stunning 2-year-old Australian cattle dog and blue heeler mix weighing in at a perfect 41 pounds. Fully grown and full of personality, LucyFurr is as striking as she is sweet. With her unique tricolored coat and mesmerizing two different colored eyes, she turns heads everywhere she goes.Beyond her beauty, LucyFurr has a heart of gold. She is wonderful with both dogs and kids, making her a great fit for a family environment or a home with other pups. Her relationship with cats, however, is unknown at this time. She is already house trained and crate trained, so she is off to a fantastic start in her home manners. Although she is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. LucyFurr is currently working on her leash skills and making steady progress every day. Like many intelligent heelers, she will thrive with consistency, structure, and a bit of adventure. Most of all Lucyfurr will flourish with lots of love and socialization. If you are looking for a loyal, eye-catching companion with a playful spirit and loving nature, LucyFurr might just be your perfect match.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. Story
Barnaby is a young 7 month old pup that catches your eye and also your heart when you first meet him.  He is a wonderful young boy that weighs 34 pounds and should become a handsome adult dog that will weigh in the range of 50 pounds as an adult.  His life started with great hope but eventually the people who adopted this cute pup became cold hearted and treated him with physical hits and loud voices when he was not the perfect puppy.  A neighbor intervened and begged Critter Cavalry Rescue to take this young and innocent pup in to our program.  Barnaby escaped years of emotional and physical abuse.  He is such a bright and happy spirit that just needs some time to get his mind wrapped around the love that is being offered to him now.  No loud voices and the forgiveness when he is NOT perfect.  He is so nice and submissive and humble in spirit.  He just wants to be accepted and have fun with other dogs and maybe become good friends with a cat if needed.   His breed is more of a Shepherd/Heeler mix and we just adore his strong black and tan coat that is crowned with the best standup ears ever!   His face pleads with you to be happy with him and to be his FRIEND.  Can you imagine all these past months how sad it was not to feel love?  Critter Cavalry Rescue knows that there is a caring family, person,  young couple or empty nesters who just want to pour their love for a dog in need upon a boy like Barnaby.  He is neutered, had all his necessary shots, microchipped, healthy and truly not emotionally damaged.  He just needs that promise of kindness, steady guidance in gentle voices and love.   Love heals everything and makes us forget when love wasn't there in the past.  Barnaby will be a smart and easy dog to polish into a phenomenal companion influence in your daily life.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 21, 2026, 9:05 pm
