You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Macy’s Marvelous Four — Pure Joy and Puppy Charm These four little ones are growing up wrapped in the kind of love every puppy deserves. Their mama, Macy, is a small to medium girl (30 lbs at most), and she is one of the sweetest, quietest, most gentle souls you’ll ever meet. She dotes on her babies with her whole heart — calm, patient, tidy as can be — and her nurturing spirit shows in her puppies. Because they’ve grown up with Macy’s steady love and their favorite two-legged jungle gym (that’s you ), these pups are incredibly socialized, confident, and happy. They’ve never known fear, only safety. They trust people, adore affection, and are learning that life is a wonderful adventure. Full-grown size will depend on who daddy was, but they may end up close to Macy’s size. What we can guarantee is this:   They’ll be loving. They’ll be joyful. They’ll be wonderful family companions. These babies will fit beautifully into almost any home — playful, affectionate, eager to bond, and ready to become someone’s heart for life. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2025, 1:04 pm

Story
Here comes precious Izar a 10week old Aussie mix puppy! Izar was just 5 weeks old when he was rescued only to find he had a broken jaw. Izar recently had the wire removed from his chin that has been supporting his jaw for weeks. Due to his young age, his jaw bone healed into the hardware, so removal was a bit more invasive.  He was returned to us the same day and has been doing very well. He is not on any meds for pain, and he doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.   We are slowly starting to ween him  from watered-down soft food to puppy kibbles.   Izar (whom we've been calling him "Chops" due to his unfortunate circumstance ) has had his vaccinations and 1st round of deworming...tolerate them well.    Izar loves to nap in his comfy bed and steps out when needing to relieve himself on his puppy pads!  Despite all Izar has been through, he is a happy little puppy who has been getting introduced to other dogs, our cat, and small children! Like most puppies, he just wants to play and shows lots of spunk! He loves to be cuddled and kissed. A TOTAL LOVE HOG Although the cuddles and kisses are his favorite,  he loves to watch Pup Academy and also enjoys Alvin and the Chipmunks on TV.   We are also happy to say we were finally able to introduce him to soft play toys (just NO "tug of war") and he is so happy to be a puppy with toys to play with.  Izar also LOVES bath time.... "Scrub-a-dub doggie, soft little doggie..." ( for those of us old enough to remember lol) Although we are so pleased with all mentioned, Izar has only two issues to overcome which is loud noises or getting put into PJs or his coat...he will be sure to grunt and growl to express his disapproval. Please apply to adopt him via our website. December 3, 2025, 11:18 pm

Story
Nemo is a 1 year old, 38lb, male red mottled Heeler. Nemo is a very playful, high energy dog that needs a lot of personal attention. He was bought from a responsible breeder. He’s smart and a fast learner, and loves to be wherever you are. He will hike with you, swim with you and play tug of war. He does well with other dogs, but needs to be monitored around them until he gets comfortable. He is great with cats and small animals but does like to chase the cat sometimes to play, otherwise he is very gentle with them. He has had some behavioral issues with leash pulling, jumping, and some nervous reactivity towards strangers and other dogs. Because of this it takes him some time to get used to other people and songs but afterwards is a sweet boy. Nemo is looking for a home with someone who can be with him for a large portion of the day and has time and patience to continue his necessary training and exercising him. He needs someone who will be understanding of his temperament
