Story
Justice is no longer working out in our home. Crate Trained. NOT leash trained. Acts like he's feral but he never was. I got him at 6 months old and hoped he would grow out of being skittish with time and maturity but he has not. He would do best in a home with an adult who is experienced with training and willing to devote the time to a difficult dog. He would make a great companion/hunting dog if trained as he likes to chase squirrels and rodents. I do not recommend him being around cats (he killed one of mine) or kids. He does love female dogs his size as a companion.

Story
Leroy’s fee is WAIVED. Apply at www.brasscityrescue.org Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Leroy - the charming, clever, and cuddly dog that is sure to steal your heart! Leroy is a 4-year-old male Cattle Dog Mix with an adorable face and a solid build of 50 pounds. He may have had a tough time as a stray, but his resilience and friendly nature are a testament to his strong character. Just one look into his soulful eyes and you'll see that this playful pup is full of love and ready to be your constant companion. Leroy's activity level is on the higher side, so get ready for some fun adventures with this active boy! He loves to play and will make sure you never have a dull moment. But don't worry, he knows when it's time to cuddle up and be a cuddle bug. Leroy is an expert at balancing play and rest, making him the perfect dog for any active household. This quirky little guy is a social butterfly but weird with men sometimes and loves the company of other dogs. He's always up for a playdate and would do well with a companion animal in the house. While he loves kids, he's best suited for older children as he may try to herd them around with his natural cattle dog instincts. Oh, he dislikes car rides. He loves to get in the rescue van but he grows cement feet when we want to take him for a hike or pup cup. Poor thing is afraid to be left again! One thing's for sure, Leroy has a heart of gold and is affectionate to the core. He'll happily shower you with love, cuddles, and sloppy kisses all day long. He'll win you over with his charming personality and happy-go-lucky attitude. If you're looking for an adorable, friendly, and quirky pup to bring into your home, Leroy is your guy! He's ready to be your best friend, constant companion, and most importantly, a member of your family. Don't miss out on the chance to give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves. Come down to the shelter and meet Leroy today - you won't regret it!

Story
This little lady is Shonda, and she cannot wait to meet you! Shonda is around 3-5years old but has a grey muzzle so we say she’s closer to 5 years. She’s very personable and friendly but she takes a little bit to warm up and show her true colors. She’s not very photogenic so it’s tough to properly exhibit all of the smiling and kisses that she bestows on us individually. Shonda is very tidy but loves to obliterate the occasional toy or nearly devour a marrow bone. She’s a loud and proud cat chaser so none of those for her! She does appreciate other dogs her size but a large pack is too much for her at this time. She’s had a bunch of friends but is an anti big as a German Shepherd kind of girl. This chick is heavy on the Cattle Dog Mix and who knows what else is stirred in the pot. Older kids are better/ not because she doesn’t like them or people, just because of the slower warm on a new person. Shonda can’t have ten thousand stairs in a home, okay that’s dramatic but you know what we mean. Less is more in the stair department. She’s apparently got an ataxic body and can get stiff. She’s got a wonky gait but Vet claims she great and not in pain, that there’s no need to fret. She gets joint supplements and runs all over. We adore her and we know you will too! To spring her out if our shelter, apply at www.brasscityrescue.org

Oh boy, these babies are going to be a whole lot of fun! There are three adorable puppies in this litter and each one of them is just as friendly, happy and loving as they can be. They are carefree, playful puppies and love nothing more than running around playing, napping and playing again. They also love people and they will come running as fast as they can, seeking a little of that one-on-one attention. All Freckles needs now is a fun and active family to call her own. Freckles was born 12/27/23 making her 12 weeks old and weighing 12 pounds at the time of this posting (3/26/24). She has been completely vetted, including spay (on 4/3), microchip, fecal test, all vaccinations, worming and she is on heartworm and flea prevention. She gets her stitches out on 4/13 & will be ready to travel any time after that. Her adoption fee is $400. Freckles is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine on this particular dog since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
