Story
Meet Judy, a SUPER cute 4 month old female Australian Cattle Dog (heeler) mix puppy! She is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. Judy is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper socialization and training, will grow into wonderful dogs. From Judy's current foster: "Judy is sweet, smart, cuddly and great with other dogs!" Judy would do great with an active family familiar with herding breeds. She is a very smart, sweet girl who can't wait to find her furever home! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2285619##

Story
Meet Copper, a stunningly handsome 2 year old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 45 lbs! He is dad to the J and K litter pups. Before coming into rescue, Copper was kept outdoors only and had never lived in a home. It took him a little while to get used to living in a house, but he has adjusted very well in his TN foster home. He is now in New England and ready to find his furever home! Copper is a little timid at first, but he is a very sweet boy and he warms up quickly. He gets along well wiith other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Due to his past, he is not super comfortable being on a leash yet - while we do think he will adapt with positive reinforcement and fun activities on leash, he would prefer a home with a fenced in yard so he can freely explore outdoors. He is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special boy today!
