Story
Sweet Dixie has been at the rescue for a little over a year. The group of dogs that she entered care with were quickly adopted out. She is still waiting. Dixie was a young mom who had to scrounge for food while living outside. She no longer has to wonder where her next meal is coming from, but she is still wondering when someone will choose her. Dixie is an energetic girl who just wants to be near her human - she prefers women. She loves to roll in the grass in the sunshine and take walks. Dixie is energetic and enjoys running around at a dog park. Being a heeler, she is very smart and quick to learn. She really wants to please. Dixie would love to find a home where she feels secure and can be active. She will need time to settle in and get used to the routines of the household. Dixie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. She is not good with cats and is dog selective.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $275. Story
Crump is the brother of Pacee (a female version of Crump). He is the typical little male puppy. He loves to be a little heathen, and he loves sleeping on your head. He lives with 13 other foster puppies of varying sizes and ages and has nine adult foster dog parents. He does great with his learning but in such a busy foster home his parental support isn't what it should be. Think "Lord of the Flies" mode. The surrounding chaos is kept to a minimum, but he needs individual support. Crump is such a little lover and compassionate little dude. Playing is his main objective and his puppy power is his strength.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Crump's adoption fee is $275. Story
This beauty also has some dalmation in him and I guess that accounts for some of the black spots on him. His DNA was done and the results were not real surprising. He was very scared when he came in to our local Animal Control..kill shelter. Our group saved him, took care of his medical, he competed heartworm treatment. THen he was ready to give him some exposure to new things...he was very timid of new experiences. He is doing better and ready for a home.He is still dog reactive so we are working on that. He needs someone who is patient, will take him for walks , play with toys with him ( he plays on his own, however). He is very affectionate.

Story
Miss Abby is such a gentle, loving soul and is great with her 14 puppy pals and nine foster homies. She doesn't require much - a soft bed and a little bit of attention. She was a stray and was found out in the middle of nowhere without much hope of survival. She is very calm and passive. Abby is housetrained using a doggy door, doesn't chew up household items or anything like that. She loves playing with the tiny puppies she lives with and is learning her sign language commands. Being in a foster home with so many foster siblings, her foster dad tries to teach them non-verbal communication. Abby is a beautiful girl who will make a great addition to any family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Abby's adoption fee is $275.
