Story
Lilo has been with my family since she was 6 weeks old and is now 8, she is the perfect dog. She is pretty chill except when you first walk into the house. She loves playing fetch and soccer with my kids. When she likes you she will follow you wherever you go. She can be let outside without a leash and will not run. If other dogs walk by she will try to go to them to play but will come back as soon as you call her name. She needs a place where she can run around outside. She is an amazing dog and it’s heart breaking for the family that she won’t be with us anymore.

Story
Mauser is a sweet but nervous little guy. We found him as a stray about 4 years ago and his owner never came forward. About 2 years ago he had his rear leg amputated due to cancer, but scans confirmed it had not spread before surgery. He’s a loving dog, but we have struggled with consistent potty training. He will go months without accidents and then go through periods where accidents happen often. With two very young children, including a crawling baby, it has become difficult for us to manage this in our home. Mauser does well with other dogs and cats. He may be nervous and barky at first but warms up fine. He’s a very sweet, sensitive dog. We believe he would do best in a quieter home without young kids, possibly with someone who has the patience and time to work with an adult dog or a home where the occasional accident isn’t a big issue.

Story
Benji is a 4 year old red heeler who I’ve had since he was 6 months old. Prior to moving here I had a big yard where he could run and play daily. My living situation changed and we no longer have that. He is high energy and needs somewhere to play or to be walked often. I work 12+ hour shifts so he is alone for over 15 hours the majority of the time. He is GREAT with kids and other dogs. His only vice is chewing blankets or dog beds.

Story
Hi, meet Bandit! He’s a 5 year old Australian cattle dog mix. He is a big cuddle dog! Loves to snuggle up with you. He is also crate trained, he loves to take naps there. He’s a very quiet dog, you’ll forget he’s even there sometimes (of course unless he sees a squirrel!) He is very timid around new people, but gains confidence as time goes on. He absolutely loves belly rubs. Ideally for his new home he would have some space to run around in, and a loving family with patience as he gains his confidence in his new surroundings. He lives just with me, so does not have much exposure to other animals or children.
