PLEASE READ  BIO BEFORE EMAILING WITH ANY QUESTIONS AS WE TRY TO INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION THAT IS KNOWN.  WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WORKING FULL-TIME JOBS AND APOLOGIZE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE. Sophie is an 8 year old female mix breed that weighs 55 lbs.  She came into rescue after the passing of her owner.  She would do best as an only pet as she gets very anxious and possessive over toys.   She has been spayed, current on all vaccines including Rabies and Bordetella, heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. She has been on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  All dogs shed and most of our dogs are mix breeds and are not recommended for any person suffering with allergies. ADOPTION DONATION:  $200.00 ADOPTION PROCESS: ***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please.  Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type. 1.  Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.  It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application.  Please notify your vet's office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us. 2. Background checks, vet references and verification of home ownership will be conducted.  If we are considering a renter, landlords will be contacted to ensure breed mixture and size of dog is permitted and if a pet deposit is required.  3. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved to arrange a homevisit. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs and due to high volume apologize that we are unable to respond to everyone.July 10, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. Sometimes she’ll pick up a toy, look directly at Rose, and then run away, all because she wants Rose’s attention. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children. Meet lovely, sweet girl Rose! She came to us when she got sick and her previous owner could not afford her medical. She loves to cuddle and loves playing fetch. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for a walk and car rides. Please fill out an application if you would like to meet them. Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She was surrendered to Pawlife Rescue when her previous owner could not afford her medical needs. Rose is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Adoption fee is for both dogs. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/iris-rose Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hi, I’m Douglas! I’m named after the road I was found on scared and alone. A nice family took me in, cleaned me up, helped me gain weight and even made sure I got all of my puppy shots! Now they are trying to help me find my forever home. The vet says I’m about 8 months old (EST DOB 06/20/2023) and some cheek swab thingy figured out I am a mostly Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mixed breed. I’m a very playful, curious and energetic little fella! I love to do zoomies, army crawl across the living room on my belly and roll around to play on my back. I love playing fetch with a ball and spending time outside. I’m a chewer so sometimes I have to be redirected to my toys and bones so I don’t inadvertently eat my human’s socks or flip flops. I’m very trainable - I have learned to sit, sit and stay and shake. I’m a really sweet boy and am starting to mind my manners. I need someone who has the time and patience to work with me so I’m more consistent responding to commands. One of the best things about me is that I’m crate trained and I even go in there now without getting a treat when my family tells me to “go home”. They say I whine sometimes when I’m bored in my crate but it’s just because I want to come out to play and see everyone! I’m really good at taking naps and sleeping in my crate. I LOVE food, sometimes a little too much, but I’m not food aggressive. You can motivate me to do just about anything with a training treat! My rescue mom says I’m doing really well at sitting and staying before I get my food. The house I’m staying in has 10 year old twins. Sometimes I listen to them and follow their lead, other times I get confused and think they are pack playmates so I jump and nip (playfully). My rescuer has not seen me with younger kids so we are not sure how I would behave. I get along well with other dogs and love to rough play. My rescuer’s 5 year old 70 lb female pup is my favorite playmate! She loves to rough play with me and puts me in check when I need it. My rescue family says with some training and a lot of love and fun, I’m going to grow up to be a great dog! Douglas's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption- fully enclosed fenced back yard also required To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application. Story
Bandit is a young and handsome energetic pup. He is around 40lbs and is a year old. He needs a person willing to spend time continuing his training as he is young and still in the chewing stage. He is treat and attention motivated. He is crate trained, rides well in car, he has made great strides on leash walking and potty training. Bandit has a silly, fun personality. He is very curious and has a lot of potential, I would say medium to high energy but he does have an off switch. He was a little nervous during thunderstorms but just needs to know where his person is. Bandit is an all around love bug that gets along well with other dogs, is neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. If he sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration ane transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue eforts.

Story
Sage is the best of 2 herding breeds. Kelpie and Border Collie. He has the best traits from both of his parents. He is very very intelligent, has a great temperament and is focused on his handler. He learned basic commands in 3 days hands down. He wants to work, so if you have livestock to round up -this is your boy! We think he is capable of working stock without too much guidance using his instincts, but as a livestock handler you always need to be there to guide him and let him know what you want. So great natural ability to read stock. He is currently on a ranch now with cattle and horses. Lots of energy , he is a people pleasing dog!!!! If you just want a family dog he can go that way too. He will be happy to herd dragon flys in the back yard, and Im sure lizards lol. Great temperament, very playful.. He requires an active lifestyle AND mental stimulation. Medium sized, neutered and utd on all vax, dewormed. We are seeking either a working home or an active family situation for him. Either way you would not be disappointed in this handsome lad. crate trained, clean boy, well mannered, good with other dogs. Currently fostered in groveland Fl area. Apps can be found at ewenityfarmsbch.com.
