Story
Mia is an 8-month-old Australian Cattle Dog who is incredibly sweet, loyal, and full of energy. She absolutely thrives outdoors, especially at the beach where she can run and swim all day. She is very smart and has so much potential with continued training and structure. Over time, we’ve seen improvement in her potty training with consistency and guidance, and she is capable of continuing to make great progress in the right environment. Unfortunately, the biggest challenge has been the dynamic in our home with our other pet, who does not get along well with her. This has created ongoing stress in the household despite our efforts to manage and train through it. This hasn’t been an easy decision because she truly is such a loving girl. We’re hoping to find her an active home, ideally with someone experienced with high-energy breeds, who can continue her training, support her progress, and give her the time, space, and lifestyle she deserves 🤍

Hi-My name is Joey.I LOVE: to bounce when I chase my toys. I really like treats too. I KNOW: I need to learn good leash skills but I`m smart and want to please. I will try very hard to learn quickly because I want you to be proud of me. Please remember I`m only six months old and will need guidance. IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR: a cuddle buddy that gives kisses, that`s me! The volunteers say I`m a “handsome boy`!I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: sometimes I act silly just to make people laugh.***Joey is 34 pounds and only three months. We believe he will be a big boy.***

Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources 🌸 Meet Iris — Sweet, Smart, and Full of Love! 🌸 Iris is a gentle and playful girl with the most expressive eyes and an adorable “deer-tail” that wiggles whenever she’s excited. She’s intelligent and quick to learn, making her a perfect companion for a family that can provide enrichment, patience, and a predictable routine. Iris can be a little skittish in new situations, but she warms up quickly and shows her loving, affectionate side. She’s potty trained, good with other dogs, and okay with cats, but would do best in a home without small children. If you’re looking for a sweet, clever, and playful girl to become your loyal companion, Iris is ready to meet you! 🐾💛 📩 Message us to meet Iris and give her a forever home!
