Story
Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. Sometimes she’ll pick up a toy, look directly at Rose, and then run away, all because she wants Rose’s attention. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children. Meet lovely, sweet girl Rose! She came to us when she got sick and her previous owner could not afford her medical. She loves to cuddle and loves playing fetch. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for a walk and car rides. Please fill out an application if you would like to meet them. Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She was surrendered to Pawlife Rescue when her previous owner could not afford her medical needs. Rose is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Adoption fee is for both dogs. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/iris-rose Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available.   Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. Please only send inquiries to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hi, I’m Douglas! I’m named after the road I was found on scared and alone. A nice family took me in, cleaned me up, helped me gain weight and even made sure I got all of my puppy shots! Now they are trying to help me find my forever home. The vet says I’m about 8 months old (EST DOB 06/20/2023) and some cheek swab thingy figured out I am a mostly Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mixed breed. I’m a very playful, curious and energetic little fella! I love to do zoomies, army crawl across the living room on my belly and roll around to play on my back. I love playing fetch with a ball and spending time outside. I’m a chewer so sometimes I have to be redirected to my toys and bones so I don’t inadvertently eat my human’s socks or flip flops. I’m very trainable - I have learned to sit, sit and stay and shake. I’m a really sweet boy and am starting to mind my manners. I need someone who has the time and patience to work with me so I’m more consistent responding to commands. One of the best things about me is that I’m crate trained and I even go in there now without getting a treat when my family tells me to “go home”. They say I whine sometimes when I’m bored in my crate but it’s just because I want to come out to play and see everyone! I’m really good at taking naps and sleeping in my crate. I LOVE food, sometimes a little too much, but I’m not food aggressive. You can motivate me to do just about anything with a training treat! My rescue mom says I’m doing really well at sitting and staying before I get my food. The house I’m staying in has 10 year old twins. Sometimes I listen to them and follow their lead, other times I get confused and think they are pack playmates so I jump and nip (playfully). My rescuer has not seen me with younger kids so we are not sure how I would behave. I get along well with other dogs and love to rough play. My rescuer’s 5 year old 70 lb female pup is my favorite playmate! She loves to rough play with me and puts me in check when I need it. My rescue family says with some training and a lot of love and fun, I’m going to grow up to be a great dog! Douglas's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption- fully enclosed fenced back yard also required To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application. Story
Washington is very, very affectionate with people that he knows, and loves to roughhouse, wrestle and play but is extremely gentle when doing so. He loves to chase a ball, amuse himself with toys and is very active. He greets new people well if not grabbed or touched roughly by a stranger. His person will need to introduce him to strangers, but it only takes a minute for him to warm up and want hugs! He gets along with other dogs and loves to play, but if bullied will stand up for himself and set the other dog straight without doing any harm. He is crate trained and house trained. His obedience is EXCELLENT. He knows "touch," "sit," "down," "off," "up" and "leave it." He will pull a bit on a leash if excited, but wears a Gentle Leader head collar and does well with it. He loves food (any kind will do), play, toys and long walks on the beach. Won't you be his companion? Apply at https://www.ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
Meet Adonis, the sweetest good boy you could ask for! Adonis is around cats, other dogs, small children, and teenagers. He becomes wiggly and excitable when he sees our cats, so we DO NOT recommend a home with cats. Adonis is sweet on our children, and enjoys long games of fetch and chase. He is still a pup, so he needs a lot of play. In the evenings, he wants to be curled up in your lap on the couch. He has deep, sweet eyes and his fur is soft, like a fawn. He needs a family that will stimulate him, and enjoy lots of cuddles. Adonis is shy and timid initially, but once he gets comfortable, he settles right in and it’s like he’s been there the entire time. Highly recommend a fenced-in yard, or lots of open space away from roads. Stumpy tailed. UTD on shots. Neutered. Fostered in Pace Fl.

These pups are in Treasure Island, Florida too!
