Story
Hi people! My name is Wilbur! I am a happy go lucky 1 year old, 40 pound, Cattle Dog mix! I love other dogs and have never met a stranger! I think I'd like to hang out with kiddos if given the chance! I can't hear, but that doesn't stop me from learning commands. My foster mom is teaching me using hand signals! She will tell you which ones I have learned so we can keep working on them together. When I'm loaded up on treats from our training sessions, I bury the extras to get back to them later :) I'm already crate and potty trained! I love to run around with the resident dogs in my foster home! I love the snow! I also love playing with toys and toss them to myself. I really love getting attention from humans. I love belly and chest scratches, and I'm not afraid to ask for attention! I will paw at you when I am looking for some love! I am hoping to find a forever family who has experience with cattle dogs and/or hearing impaired dogs. Since I can't hear, I will need a securely fenced yard in my forever home! If you're looking for a fun-loving cuddle buddy, you've come to the right place! I am excited to meet you so submit an application! **I am participating in the Adoption Extravaganza! My adoption fee is $250** My adoption fee is $600.

Story
Introducing Nova, a spunky one year old Australian Cattle Dog that was recently surrendered to our facility due to her owner being homeless. Nova has been with us before as a stray when she was a little puppy so seeing her all grown up and being back in devastating. Nova loves people and wants to play, play, play. She loves treats and you can tell she is a quick learner and wants to earn her yumy treats. She does well with other dogs that respect her space. She's all tail wags and play bows. She is too focused on cats so a feline free home is what's best for Nova. Nova would love to have an active family that will take her on lots of walks and runs through the neighborhood. Hikes and adventures are on her bucket list for the summer and cannot wait to start crossing things off. Her adoption fee is $245, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm test, current heartworm/flea prevention, registered microchip, and spay.
