WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Poppy – the 28 pounds of pure spunk you never knew you needed! This adorable 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix is equal parts silly, sweet, and slightly ridiculous—in the very best way. But whatever her mix, she's100% adorable goofball! Poppy comes fully loaded with energy, affection, and a signature underbite that gives her a permanent “deep thoughts” expression. Her lip gets stuck on her teeth about 90% of the time, so she often looks like she’s seriously pondering the meaning of life…when really she’s just thinking about snacks. Poppy LOVES to play with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to romp around stealing...err sharing toys. Cats are currently a mystery, but knowing her easygoing nature, she just might surprise us. When she’s not zooming around having fun, she’s a world-class cuddler who believes personal space is optional. She’s already house trained (gold star for Poppy!) and is always ready for adventure. Car ride? She’s calling shotgun before you even grab the keys. Windows down, ears flapping, living her best life—this girl was made for road trips and outdoor fun. Poppy would be perfect for an active person or family who enjoys walks, hikes, fetch, or just having a happy little shadow by their side. She’s great with other dogs and people of all ages, and she approaches life with a goofy, “let’s see what happens next!” attitude. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy, loyal companion with a face and personality that will make you laugh every single day, Poppy is your girl. Just be prepared—once she moves in, she plans on stealing your heart, your couch spot, and possibly the front seat of your car. If you’re looking for a loyal, happy, people-loving pup who will greet every morning like it’s her best day yet, Poppy is ready to take her place in your heart and on your couch. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let this lovable girl light up your life!

Story
Arizona is a 4-month-old female pup that weighs approximately 16 lbs and has not had an easy young life so far. She was dumped in the desert along the Texas/Mexico border, where she had to find her own food, water and shelter, all while protecting herself against the freezing weather and bigger dogs/predators. After some time, she got into a gated RV mobile home park and took refuge under a shed. The neighbors started feeding her, so she at least didn’t go hungry until one of the neighbors complained, and the RV park said to get rid of her (typical). Arizona was scared and wouldn’t go to anyone, so a good Samaritan with a dog trap had to go out there and trap her to get her to safety to ensure she didn’t fall into the wrong hands. February 1st is the first time we think she was handled by humans as she is so timid and fearful, but so submissive and gentle. The foster says she is super quiet and hasn’t made a peep since she got her on February 1st. She flinches with noises and we think everyone always yelled at her probably to go away or swung at her to move, if she was trying to get food to eat or shelter to sleep under. Arizona is going through a lot of her firsts, such as she learned recently what a dog bed is and she is loving it! She loves her toys, especially kongs and toys with squeakers. She will sit with a toy in her mouth and just keep squeaking it repeatedly, unsure of what else to do with it. We know with time, she will learn to properly play with all of her toys. Arizona is learning how to walk on a leash, and it’s a working progress but she is learning slowly! We strongly believe another dog in the home to help build her confidence is a must, or if there is no other dog, someone that is home more than not, that can take her to socialize, properly train and be patient with her as she learns how to be a puppy. Arizona loves her crate; it’s her safe place. She loves other dogs and to reiterate another confident dog in the home to help her learn to be a dog would truly help her. Arizona will be a medium sized dog and would be good in an apartment or in a house with a yard. She needs someone who is patient and understands she will need lots of love to get her out of her shell completely. Arizona will be spayed, she is current on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
We are a litter of 8, and our rescue story had lots of surprises! What started as a call to save 4 puppies quickly turned into a full-on puppy treasure hunt. Surprise! There were even more of us hiding under a storage container… and our sweet mama too! With some yummy food and gentle coaxing, we were all scooped up and brought to safety together. Now we’re warm, cozy, and living the good life with soft blankets—and we’re ready to find our forever families! We are happy, silly puppies who love zoomies, climbing on everything, chewing all the toys, and wrestling like tiny champions. When we finally wear ourselves out, we turn into snuggle pros and happily crawl into a lap for a nap. If you’re looking for nonstop fun, endless puppy kisses, and the best snuggle buddy around, we might just be your perfect match! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Trooper is the definition of loyal companion. This sweet boy does wonderfully with other dogs and is even good with cats! He truly enjoys having furry friends around and would likely thrive in a home with another dog to help him feel confident and keep him company. He especially loves to play with other dogs and would be so happy to have a playful sibling in his forever home. Trooper is incredibly friendly and happiest when he’s close to his person or people. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, doing chores around the house, or just moving from room to room, you can count on Trooper to be right there with you. He bonds deeply and loves being part of the family. While he’s a loving and happy boy, Trooper can be sensitive to loud noises or a lot of activity. When things feel overwhelming, he doesn’t act out — he simply heads to his crate, which he considers his safe space. It’s his cozy retreat where he can relax and feel secure. Because of this, he would do best in a home that understands his gentle nature and can offer him a calm, reassuring environment. If you’re looking for a sweet, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, loyal companion who just wants to be near you and love you, Trooper may be your perfect match. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
