Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permenant homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 February 25, 2024, 3:23 pm

Story
JoJo is a 4-year-old Red Heeler looking for an experienced cattle dog owner. She is the sweetest cuddler you'll ever meet, but would prefer to be only pet in the house. She will need a house with plenty of space for her to get her energy out. She needs fenced in yard. JoJo has had multi years of training and knows basic commands. Needs to go to patient family willing to put in time with her because she is a cattle dog. She does get excited when around objects with wheels.

Story
Remo! This warrior miracle knows his forever family will come. Is it you? Here is a reminder of this guy’s story…When he was only several weeks old, he was found in a ditch, dragging his hind quarters, possibly due to being hit by a car. Sadly, this little guy was left to die. Stray Network stepped up, rescued him, gave him a name and a chance. It was determined that Remo needed extensive surgeries to repair compressed discs in his spine and a severely broken back leg. In the months that he has been with us, he’s gone from being paralyzed to walking and even running short distances. Remo is consistently working hard to regain strength and to heal nerve damage in his back legs. This is done by having him up and walking around the house or yard. He is one determined, treat motivated guy! Remo loves attention from people. He enjoys playing with other dogs. He is good on a leash and is able to take short, leisurely walks. His forever family should realize that while he does have limitations, he is still healing and it’s beneficial to have him continue to work on moving and strengthening his back legs. No doubt he will his show his forever family lots of love and bring happiness to their lives. Remo is neutered and fully vetted! To apply for Remo, visit straynetwork.org

Story
My dog , shadow, turned 1 on October 2, 2023. He was given to me almost a year ago for my birthday. He is a very active, hyper, and fun dog. He loves to play with kids, however, he can be a little rough without trying. He is such a playful dog but he doesn’t realize how big he is. He is not aggressive at all. He loves everyone, loves to greet people. He acts if he was a very little puppy. Shadow gets along well with dogs but he may get a little carried away because , again, he doesn’t realize his own weight. I’m hoping he can find a home where they will have enough time to play and care for him properly. A home that can financially support him.

Story
Kibble was a gift to my sister’s husband around Covid period. They lived with him for about 4 years now since he was a pup but she’s developed a severe allergy to dog hair. So bad that it sent her to the ER on a couple of occasions. He’s a sweet do but I don’t have the bandwidth to care for him the way he deserves. He loves open space and running around. So any home that can provide that for him is a win. Thank you for your time.
