Story
Jake is an australian cattle dog mix and he’s 10 years old. I rescued Jake back in 2017 from Mutt Nation when I lived in Nashville. He has done great with my two kids for the past almost 5 years and has previously lived with two small yorkies (has not been socialized around big dogs much & has a high prey drive so would not do well with cats). He is house trained. Would do well with someone who has experience with this breed or similar — he is high energy and is an anxious dog (he is not destructive when anxious, just whines/paces/barks). Would do well in an environment where he gets lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Unfortunately for my mental health in this season of life, I would love to find him an environment he can thrive in, as hard as it is for me. He is loyal and loves affection from his people. Loves to play fetch and loves bully sticks. Knows sit, down, shake, high five, bed (place), & wait/okay to be released.

We got Rico as a 9 week old puppy. We were told he was boxer and lab. Turns out he’s mostly Australian cattle dog and boxer. He has a high drive to chase our cats and it is causing them a lot of distress. A trainer agreed with us that a no cat home is best for everyone. He’s smart and loving, loves walks and fetch (he’s stillLearning to return it!) and he would LOVE another doggy friend. Would probably not be best with young children only because of his tendency to herd and nip like an ACD, but he does love children!

Oden is two years old & incredibly bright. He is from Florida (I know the parents) & the joke is he got all the “ink”. His brothers are less & less colorful leaving his brother, Goose, pretty much all white. Odin can sit, touch hagently each side of his face, provide paw by side (R/L), lay down, come, hold (on his leash). But people… he protects his home and barks loudly. And he can protect people sometimes too much. He loves belly rubs, loves to be combed. He needs to reminded to sit up to have his nails trimmed because he wants to lay down and sleep. He loves hugs, and will nudge you for nose kisses. He loves sleeping on a pillow and being tucked in with a blanket (yes, he is a baby). He loves chasing rabbits and any other wildlife. He will chew on toys that squeak until they don’t. He learned to take the caps off empty water bottles and give them to you, and smash the bottles. He is really a great dog who needs a great home. He comes with a bed, toys, holiday collars, food and love.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi my name is Trixie. This is a new name to me because I was found as a stray and no one came to claim me. I just don't understand why!  I was a good girl!    I am around 6 years old and weigh in at about 40lbs, so not too big.   I do like to be with my person and follow my foster mom around the house, but once she is sitting, I am more than ready to relax.  I am good with other dogs, but we do not know about cats. No small children please. I know lots of things, sit, sit on button, stay, give me paw and whne my mom give me more commands, I will show her what I got!  She gave me a bath and trimmed my nails. I am so shiny and soft now. I did test positive for Lyme Disease and started my treatment for that. Dang nasty ticks! Meet Lorado! He is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs 46 pounds. Lorado is a social butterfly who absolutely loves meeting new people. He is a young and energetic pup who loves to run around and play with his ball, go on long walks, and lounge in the sunshine or on the couch with you. Lorado is a typical cattle dog who loves to herd and can be quite mouthy at times, so he would do best with an owner that has experience with positive reinforcement training and the cattle dog breed. He is a little bundle of energy that loves to explore the world around him, but once he`s settled down is a big snuggle bug. Lorado can be reactive with new dogs, so he needs a slow introduction to new dogs to see if they`d make a good match in his forever home. Lorado will need a home without cats. Due to his tendency to get mouthy when he`s excited, he would do best in a home with kids ages 13 and older. He is a handsome pup who will surely bring plenty of spice into your life!Lorado did spend some time in a foster home for a few days and was reportedly potty trained, however, he will need time and patience to adjust to a new schedule. They also reported that he loves to ride in the car and go for walks on his long line!
