Story
Please contact Tori (victoria.notch@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Meet Radley! He is a 1 year old Red Heeler and all around good boy! He loves people and other animals but his nature is herding so he will try to round up the whole household! He is a very active working line dog. His new family will need working line experience and will need to already be active and ready to finish his training. Radley will need lots of room to run and play. He loves having a job and is very food motivated. He is also sweet and cuddly after he receives proper daily exercise. Radley is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night.   Radley weights 48lbs, is heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Are you the perfect fit for this beautiful boy? Apply today! All Paws and Prayers animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention.  Adoption fees also include the pet's spay/neuter and microchipping.  The first step in the adoption process is to complete a no-obligation adoption application at www.pawsandprayers.org.     June 6, 2025, 3:10 pm

TEDDY 3YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 1YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken   This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $400.00 for the pair. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application. http://www.ajssearchandrescue.org/adoption-applicationMarch 22, 2025, 1:27 pm

Story
**BONDED PAIR TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER**Meet our bonded pair of Jane and Jill! Jane is a female terrier mix that weighs 27 pounds. Jane’s body is mainly white with a black eye patch and black ears. Jill is a female cattle dog mix with a dark coat and weighs 31 pounds. Both girls are estimated to be 1-2 years old. Jane and Jill were found together as strays. Jill is very dependent on Jane. When the girls first came in, they were so scared. After a few days at the shelter, they are now happy, vibrant, playful girls. Jane is the more outgoing of the two. Whereas Jill will follow Jane’s lead. These girls are so playful outside in our play yards. Jane and Jill seek affection from the volunteers now and they actually smile. They walk well on leash together. They share a room together at the shelter and keep it very clean. Jane and Jill love each other very much and for that reason, we want them to be adopted together. We are looking for an active family with a physical fenced-in yard. Older respectful children should be fine. Jane and Jill love to play and would enjoy hiking and running. We realize this is a tall order to fill but we are hopeful that there is a family out there for this beautiful duo. A meet and greet is required with any resident dogs. Cat compatibility is unknown. Jane and Jill are available together for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster them in your home until they are done with all their vetting which includes spay, vaccines, microchip and testing for heartworm disease. After all routine vetting is completed, then you can formally adopt them. Their adoption fee together is $240. If you are committed to giving Jane and Jill a forever home, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org to schedule an appointment to meet these precious ladies. They just want a home where they can live their best lives.

These pups are in Aurora, Ohio too!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Board Game puppiesTwister is one of eight adorable puppies who got the best start in life thanks to Doberman Underground! Their brave mom was found as a stray and taken to a shelter, where it was discovered she was pregnant. Thankfully, DU stepped in to ensure she had a safe place to deliver and raise her pups. While their mom appeared to be a purebred Doberman, DNA results revealed that she is actually a unique blend! Twister and her siblings are a mix of several wonderful breeds, including Doberman, American Pitbull Terrier, Australian Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Boxer. These pups are going to be big, cuddly dogs with loving personalities and lots of energy! Twister is a well-socialized, playful pup who will thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show the ropes. As a large-breed mix, she will need an experienced owner who understands the commitment of raising a big, energetic pup. At this young age, she will adapt well to kids and cats with proper introductions. Training is a must to help Twister grow into a well-mannered adult, so be sure you have the time and dedication for a growing puppy. A spay/neuter contract is required.
