Hi there! I'm Saki, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home! I’ve been through a lot, but I promise I’ve got nothing but love and energy to give. My first owner couldn’t take care of me anymore, and now I’ve been surrendered again—not because I did anything wrong, but because I wasn’t getting along with the cat in my last home. I’m just a girl who needs a bit of guidance, but I'm learning and growing every day! I’m super sweet and love meeting new people. I might even get a little too excited and jump up to give you kisses, but I’m just so happy to be around you! I’m definitely an attention hog—I love being the center of attention, and I’m not afraid to show it. If you’re active, we’ll be the perfect match. I’d love to go on hikes, runs, and any adventure you have in mind! If you’re into agility, I’ll happily show off my skills. I'm a quick learner, so I'm all in for training sessions (especially if treats are involved—I'm food motivated, after all). I can get a bit mouthy and strong-willed at times, and my leash manners still need some work, but hey, I’m a smart girl, and I know I can do it with a little patience. My ideal home would be with someone who’s active, loves to train, and is willing to give me the structure I need to become the best version of myself. I could be okay living with another dog, but no cats for me—I’ve got a high prey drive, and I just can’t help myself. After being transferred from another rescue, Jethro is settling in nicely at PK. He is a 9-year-old super mutt who weighs 40 lbs. He probably has some Blue Heeler and maybe some Labrador Retriever in him, but who knows what else? Jethro is a friendly boy, but he doesn’t need to be the center of attention. While he enjoys getting out to stretch his legs on walks, as a more mature guy, he also enjoys lounging. He is smart and observant and would appreciate a family that will involve him in their activities to keep his brain engaged.
