Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Meet Speckles! Speckles is a beautiful 4 year old red heeler mix that is ready to meet her forever family. She's the perfect size at about 45lbs. Speckles is deaf but she doesn't let that get in the way of anything. She loves people and kids and goes crazy for a tennis ball. She is excellent in the car and loves to go. She jumps right in and lays down. She'd love to be your adventure buddy. Speckles is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. She is housetrained, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, spayed, and microchipped.

Story
A stray Mom and her 9 babies were found in the woods. The finder fed the Mom so she could feed her babies. The finder decided she wanted to keep the Mom and spay her themselves. That left 9 puppies in need of a place to go and now they are OSCAR pups. They were dubbed the "Jurassic Park" litter - 6 boys: Grant, Malcolm, Hammond, Tim, Nedry, & Arnold and 3 girls: Ellie, Lex & Dern. They are all social, fun loving and happy puppies who get along with people and other dogs. We do not know what they think of cats. Nedry is about 3 months old and 16 pounds. Please help Nedry find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
