Story
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Grayson is a happy-go-lucky 9 week old, 5-10 lb heeler mix. He is quite the looker and turns heads wherever he goes. He’s friendly and curious with new dogs and would enjoy a well-balanced dog pal in his forever home.   Grayson can be found splashing around in the water, trying to keep cool in the summer’s heat. He’s bright and is catching onto potty training quickly. Like all puppies, he will need adequate daily exercise and continued socialization. Heelers are herding dogs and tend to be an active breed. He would love to join a fun family who will take him on adventures and bond with him in puppy training classes. He’s a total catch!   If you’re interested in adding Grayson to your family, email almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com for an application.   Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Please read Suzanne Clothier's wonderful article, "It Takes a Pack to Raise a Puppy!" PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us atAlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
This is a Courtesy Post. Molly is a beautiful Stumpy Tail Australian Cattle dog. She weighs about 35 lbs and is just 4 yrs old. She has been with her foster family for about a year now after coming up from Alabama and delivering her puppies on the transport! Molly has received some professional training due to her anxiety and herding/chasing instincts. Being a herding dog, she is very intelligent and has a great desire to learn new things. Slow introductions to new people help Molly to understand there is nothing to fear. We are in search of special adopter who wants to understand their dog and help them be the best friend they can be. A fenced yard is required and there can be not cats or small children. Molly likes other dogs but does best with non-dominant male dogs. She loves to play and would make a great agilities dog. She is truly one of a kind and will make a wonderful companion to the right adopter. Molly is spayed, up to date on core vaccines and microchipped. Please complete an application on our website. www.tinymiraclespcr.org

Story
Quincy is a charming, energetic dude looking for a new home! Quincy was unfortunately brought back to LCR when his owner's schedule had a drastic change and he could no longer provide for Quincy. He was very loved and spoiled though, Quincy loves to go for walks and hang with his favorite people! He is typical to his breed and would do best with someone that has experience with these types of dogs. Quincy is also looking for a kid free home without small animals, he gets along with other dogs that can respect his space. His adoption fee is $50 includes he is neutered, up to date with vaccines, 4dx tested, microchipped, and started on monthly preventions. Story
Blake and his litter are super special to our rescue. We have been trying to catch their parents for over a year! They are some super smart dogs! We kept one of the older ones as the rescue mascot, Radar. These pups we found early, and they are used to people and very friendly! They are also smart like their parents and all have learned manners and house-training almost entirely on their own! They are sweet and gentle and love snuggles and toys! They are great with other dogs, and curious about cats, but leave them alone. Super sweet with kids! Just all around great pups! Message us for more info! Note - Little Blake is sooo smart! He is mostly kennel and house trained RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Story
Misha is an approximately five year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for her forever home. She was abandoned by her original owner but someone stepped in and welcomed Misha into their home and horse farm, and quickly found she is accustomed to being on a farm around horses and other farm animals and where acclimated well to her new life. She is currently living with a foster family but is separated from the other dogs in the house as she needs to be the only dog. Misha is sweet, very energetic, and extremely intelligent. She can be hesitant when meeting new people, but after spending time and gaining trust she will melt your heart once you get to know her. Misha enjoys exercising and playing with her toys (especially her frisbees). She loves to play outside and would be best as an only dog with a large yard to run, or even a farm to put her to work and keep her busy! Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 which includes each animal is fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm &/or 4dx tested, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please fill out an application on our website lastchanceranch.org. PA Kennel License #4518
