Story
Meet Cash, a senior Cattle Dog mix with a calm, steady presence that instantly puts everyone at ease. This easygoing gentleman has perfected the art of laid-back living—he’s quiet, gentle, and happiest just being part of the rhythm of your day. Cash enjoys his daily walks and loves spending time outside taking in all the sights and smells. He can be a little stubborn when his nose leads the way, but it only adds to his charm. Inside the house, Cash most loves spending time with his people snuggled up on the couch, getting as much love as he can get. Cash thinks he's a lap dog, but again, that only adds to his charming personality! He’s wonderful with other dogs, completely housetrained, and comfortable in a crate. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who’s content to stroll by your side, relax at your side, and bring a peaceful kind of joy into your home, Cash is your guy. Cash is heartworm positive, but please do not let that scare you away from giving him a loving home. We provide guidance and his medications will travel with him to his forever home. Cash is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join a family on or after 12/6/25. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptabledogs #adoptme ##2586968##

Story
COURTESY POST:  Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.   She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.   Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.   She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.   If you are interested in Maggie please contact Haley at 6103315394 (tel:6103315394) .March 6, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Birdie is an adorable 4 year old cattle dog mix. Due to no fault of her own, she is looking for a new home or a foster home. Her current mom says she is too much for the toddlers in the house with her herding behavior. She would do best in a home with older children and larger dogs. No cats for this herding dog!! She is house-trained, UTD on vaccines and spayed.  If you are interested in adoption or fostering, please reach out to sheplover5@aol.com for more information or go to our site to fill out an adoption application at the below link. Story
Meet Ripley fka Panera: Ripley is a 1 year old (as of September 2025) cattle dog / lab / terrier mix (our best guess) that weighs about 37 pounds. She’s an absolute cuddle bug. She is your typical young dog, so she’s extra cute and spunky. She may be small for her breed but is packed with personality! She is a “Velcro dog” who always wants to be attached at the hip, thus earning her the nickname - “Grippy.” Ripley plays hard and cuddles even harder. She is very talkative and will let you know when she wants something or if someone is nearby. She knows sit, down, and has excellent recall skills. Ripley has been through a lot in the short time she’s been on this earth, so it can take some time for her to warm up to someone. She is initially scared of new dogs, animals, and strangers. She does well with slow introductions, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your best companion. Although she has an abundance of great qualities, she would do best as an only pet in a home and no small children. She likes to play with other dogs but doesn’t like to share. Ripley needs an experienced foster or adopter who has time to give her the mental and physical stimulation she needs and knows how to handle resource guarding behaviors.  Ripley is house-trained and crate-trained. We would love for Ripley to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Ripley is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed. If you are interested in adding this adorable girl into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Rascal:  Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds.  Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized.  Rascal loves attention and is very sweet.  Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking. Rascal will need a fenced in yard where she can run and a family that is very active and experienced. Rascal will make a great dog in the right home. Rascal is up to date on all her shots and spayed. If you were interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application.
