This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Buc-ee, a charming and energetic Australian Cattle Dog mix ready to find his forever home. Buc-ee is a two-year-old, 40lb dog with a high energy level and an incredibly fun personality. He's always up for training, hiking, and exploring, and will do anything for a treat - he's a quick learner and loves to show off his skills! Buc-ee is in boarding currently but seems to be house and crate trained and knows basic commands like sit and come. Buc-ee is smart and eager to bond with someone. He enjoys riding in the car (in his crate) and walking on a leash. He's also good with cats, prefers female dogs, and has done well in group training classes. Bu-cee is an adventurous spirit who is ready to see more of the world. He would thrive in an active home with someone who likes to do clicker training and would LOVE to have a fenced-in yard where he can play and run. If you have food to share, you'll soon be best friends. Buc-ee will be a loyal and active companion for you! He'll keep you entertained with his fun-loving personality and his willingness to learn new things. Ask us more about Buc-ee!  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $160. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Story
Meet 11 week old Helena! Born March 15th she is a lovable and playful little gal! She loves to run around outside and play in the mulch. She is crate trained and we are working on potty training. We get it right most of the the time though! Helena also has her first round of shots. We are rehoming as our youngest child is not adjusting well to new dog life. Helena is very spunky and adores the children. We jumped too soon on a puppy. This is a great dog and trust when I say she will be a great addition to a family that is ready for her!

Story
Meet Chili. She came to us from a shelter partner in Alabama as part of an unwanted litter of puppies. These puppies are very friendly and social. They were picked up by animal control after being found running around their neighborhood several time. There is definitely Heeler in Chili and probably several other breeds too. She is the little more timid of the three and enjoys being cuddled. Chili is definitely a higher energy pup and will need a home with knowledge of the breed and one that wants to be active with their dog. She can be nippy like a heeler so no small children for her. She is super smart and eager to learn. Chili should do well with someone that has time to train a puppy. She is the largest of the three and looks like she has more of a lab coat with the heeler colors. We estimate her date of birth to be around the middle of January 2023. Chili is scheduled to be spayed on May 9, 2023 and will be ready for adoption. She will have two sets of vaccines by then, be microchipped and has already been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Chili is now spayed,  up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption  fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting Chili, the first step is to visit our website www.LHARinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application. ##1700168##

Story
Meet Chiquita. She is a heeler mix puppy that came to us from an Alabama shelter partner with two siblings. They were part of an unwanted litter that was surrendered by the owner after they were found wandering around town. Chiquita is very friendly and social. We estimate her date of birth to be around the middle of January 2023. She appears to be a heeler mix and has a lot of heeler behaviors already. She will do best in a home that has knowledge of the breed and wants to be active with their dog. She is very cuddly and eager to learn. Chiquita is the most dominant of the litter of pups with her siblings. She does like to boss them around. She can be a nippy puppy so no small children for her unless you have a lot of time to train her not to herd your children. Chiquita is scheduled to be spayed on May 9, 2023 and will be ready for adoption. She will have two sets of vaccines by then, be microchipped and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention.  Her adoption fee is $300.00. Story
Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!: She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!
