Story
Ebony is a beautiful blue eyed purebred Toy Aussie. She is approximately 20 pounds, so a larger toy. She turned a year old in August. Ebony was apart of our program for several months, but has developed some indifferences in our multi dog household. We feel that she would do best in a quieter home without any other dogs, or with less assertive or smaller dogs. She is VERY people focused. She bonds quickly with her person and loves young children. Very gentle. She is low energy, yet still enjoys walks and outdoor activities. She can also self occupy and LOVEs to chew a bone next to you. She is trained in off leash walking and hiking. Completely house broken, fully up to date on vaccinations, DNA tested and clear for any progressive debilitating diseases. She is an MDR1 carrier only. Please, serious inquiries only. We are asking a small rehoming fee for a wonderful companion for the right family.

Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 16, 2024, 7:14 am

Story
Emmaleigh is a beautiful 6-month-old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix girl that weighs 28 lb and is looking for a family to love. This sweet girl and her sisters were seen being thrown out of a truck on a rural country road and cruelly abandoned. All three of the puppies went running after the truck and one was actually hit by a car but has recovered now. A very kind couple witnessed this cruelty in the making and quickly gathered up the puppies and took them home to their property where they could be fostered and vetted. Emmaleigh loves to run and play with her sisters and to enjoy the freedom of a place to run and people to love her. She is a tad shy at first but warms quickly when she realizes that you mean her no harm. All Emmaleigh wants to do in life is love someone and to be loved in return. She is joyful and happy as she runs around her foster yard.  Her beautiful blue eyes will pierce your soul and heart and will beg you to accept her just the way she is. She will be a 40 to 45 lb adult beauty and we hope that someone discovers her special gift of love very soon. Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Critter Cavalry rescue is very excited to offer this most unusual dark grey and white, young 8 months old  Aussie mix girl called Kona. She has been the sweetest,  most gentle dog and is going to make some family extremely happy. At just 35 lbs. and destined to grow no more than 40 lbs. as a full grown adult, Kona Will be a perfect medium sized love muffin. When you touch her fur you will find the softest coat that is shown beautifully in unique shades of dark grey, black and featuring  white accents of color.  She is wonderful around other dogs, cats, and she really likes children.  There is a little hesitation on her part when around tall imposing men. This has to do with her early life where she was born in the backyard of a poor family that had lots of dogs that were neglected and ignored.  We think the man of the house spoke harshly and treated all the dogs with some hard-handed physical contact.  Critter Cavalry is ready to change her world and she promises to change your world too. She is very easy going and laid-back when she wants, but Kona does enjoy a fenced yard to run around in. She's crate trained and pretty much housebroken but does need more leash walking training. Sometimes when she is nervous you literally have to pick her up and move her. We have had her two weeks now and she has come a long way. She is ready for someone else to take over the love and training and reassurance that she needs.  She like a sponge with her sharp intelligence and quick mind. This tender-hearted girl is looking for a kind owner who is patient and yet strong in their commitment to help  find her confident groove in life.  She is so very young and so very moldable and she constantly looks for your affirmation and encouragement. This girl is a rare treasure to find.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  Please mention what city and state you live in. Kona is currently in Nashville Tennessee but we also adopt to families in the Northeastern states.  We have weekend transport access for a family wanting to adopt her outside of Tennessee.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
