Story
Toaster is SUPER smart! He knows come on leash (off-leash is meh, walks great otherwise) sit, stop, stay, take + working on more! BIG chewer on toys but his faves are long sticks & balls -Likes most dogs, slow intro is recommended but hes never bitten/lunged! Just barks if he doesnt love the vibes. I blame it on the aggressive dogs near me since he wasnt like this prior to fostering him, in fact, he grew up w/ other dogs to play with -LOVES cats! one of mine is a bit of a bully yet Toast adores him, never once gotten snippy with him. My older cat likes to be left alone & Toaster listens -Kids: seems to like the affection even if they were loud. Never shown aggression but hasnt lived w any He has some separation anxiety (no meds). Its gotten better w/ time but will whine/shake if he cant see you even if youre just showering (water is evil). Crate is his safe space so hes able to soothe after 10-20mins normally. He just wants to love on his family and keep yall safe ❤️

Story
Hello! This is Mochi (mo-chee) and he is around 10 yrs old (could be younger since he was a stray) We are looking to rehome Mochi in preparation for our first child due in May. He might not be the best to have a baby around since he can be reactive to touch Mochi is calm like 80% of the day despite being a mix of a bunch of herding dogs but definitely gets more energetic after work hours. He had heartworms after I initially adopted him 5 years ago but those were treated w no issues. He is not a super cuddly dog but definitely enjoys people and being pet. Just not hugs, being lifted, or his tail being touched while he’s resting. Hes also doesnt have the best track record w other animals especially ones bigger than him (could also be my inexperience w dog behavior though) He plays on the rougher side for some people but he is also very food motivated. I don’t want to risk the chance of my dog reactively biting my child because his tail was accidentally touched.

Story
Meet Leia! Leia is a 40-pound bundle of sweetness just waiting to steal your heart! Lovable and affectionate, she absolutely adores hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and being close to her people. Whether you're hanging out on the couch or playing outside in the yard, Leia just wants to be part of the family and involved in all the action. She’s a quick learner who is already potty and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to any home. Leia has a playful side and loves a good game of fetch to burn off some energy. After a fun play session, she’s more than happy to snuggle up and soak in all the love and attention you have to give. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people or pups, once she warms up, she becomes a fantastic playmate for other dogs and does well with older kids too. Leia lives in a home with cats and does well with them. Leia prefers to eat her meals solo, but once she’s finished, she’s ready to jump right back into playtime or cuddle mode! She’s the perfect mix of cuddly, playful, and loyal, and she’s more than ready to find a forever family to call her own. Leia would thrive in a home where she can be included in activities, get plenty of belly rubs, and enjoy daily games of fetch. If you’re looking for a gentle, fun-loving, and devoted companion, Leia might just be your perfect match! To apply directly for Leia click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-611 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
About Oakley: * Breed: Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix * Age: 7 * Size: 50 pounds * Personality: Friendly, loyal to his person * House-Trained * Kennel-Trained.
Oakley has been with my husband and I since he was just a couple months old. He has always been our only pet so not really sure how he would be with other dogs. Oakley is disinterested with our kids. He would do best as an Inside Dog, sleeps inside, but he loves to play outside! He loves to play fetch, swim, and definitely needs a backyard. He is very loyal and incredibly sweet to his person.
