A SWEET & BEAUTIFUL GIRL: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 26 lbs. Hi there! My name is Honeybear! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I'm so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family. I am so excited to meet my new family soon—perhaps it's you?  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and a nice 1-year-old male dog in a temporary foster home, and though I wasn't quite ready to play, I was interested in them and didn't show any aggression, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I spent time in two temp. foster homes and really liked all the kids, ages 4-8, with just a little excited barking when we played, so if you have kids around these ages, let's meet!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I'm a very sweet, pretty girl with a gentle, curious, and pretty chill personality. I can be a bit shy and cautious at first, so please be gentle with me and give me time to warm up. Sitting with me in my room and talking to me in a sweet soft voice helped me feel more comfortable at the shelter. I was sweet and gentle during my bath, though a bit timid, and I clung to the tub's edge before sitting nicely for my ear cleaning. During my temp. foster visits, I showed some puppy-like behavior, picking up shoes and other things that didn't belong to me so please give me plenty of Nylabones and toys to chew on and help me learn what's mine. I was good dropping them when told, so I think I will learn quickly with your help. With patience and reassurance, I'm sure my sweet personality will continue to shine. / Energy level: 5-7.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I've learned the 'sit' and 'come' commands so far and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule and several on one temp. foster visit, but then only had accidents on the first day in another, so I'll need my new family to help me master my potty training.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like toys and spending time with the nice, calm volunteers who make me feel safe and comfortable. I also really like treats and did some vocal begging at the table on my temp. foster visits—so I may need to learn some manners in that area lol. Once I'm settled into my new home, I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we'll enjoy together! / I'm a little shy so I wouldn't want to be rushed and I was a little nervous on stairs and getting in and out the car for my temp. foster visits, but I'm sure I'll get more comfortable in time. Other than that, like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I'm a wonderful dog looking for a family that will treasure me and love me forever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.  September 14, 2026, 6:57 am

Hi… I’m Dean. 🎾🤎 For the last 3 months, my whole world has been a boarding kennel. Every morning I wake up hoping today is the day someone finally comes for me… but every night I go back to sleep alone. The people here say I’m one of the happiest boys they’ve ever met. I LOVE toys. I’m completely obsessed with playing fetch (seriously… I could do it for HOURS 😂). Toss me a ball and I light right up. It’s my favorite thing in the world… besides maybe getting love from humans. I’m only around 1-2 years old, 45 lbs, dog friendly, people friendly, food motivated, super trainable, and the perfect smaller size. I’ve got so much life and joy in me, but it’s hard spending your young years watching life happen from behind kennel walls. I dream about simple things: A couch. A backyard. A toy basket with squeaky toys. A person who says “good morning, Dean.” A home where I finally belong. I’m fully vetted and currently on slow-kill treatment for heartworm, and the rescue will guide my adopter through everything. What I really need now is someone willing to give me a chance. Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon. This well rounded lovebug will make an amazing addition to one lucky family! Interested in adopting?
