Story
A SMART & ACTIVE FRIEND:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 63 lbs.     Hi, I’m Punky!  I was adopted as a young puppy, but things didn’t work out long term as I came into my Cattle Dog traits, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for a Cattle Dog loving home!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met nice dogs at Mostly Mutts and although I did not play with them, I did not show any aggression. My former family reported that I liked the dogs I met in my former home.  Best no smaller dogs though as I do have prey drive. / No cats due to prey drive. / I met kids recently at Mostly Mutts and LOVED THEM, and I liked the kids in my former family, though I was wary of their friends coming into the home, so kids 15+ would be best.  Let’s meet!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My trainer describes me as very sweet and lovable, well behaved, and well trained too.  I’m affectionate and have a protective nature which is me being true to my breed.  I’ve shown some guarding of my people and my home towards strangers entering.  Mostly Mutts is working with me on this and will work with my new family too!  / My energy level is 6 – 8, so I’ll will want regular exercise. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program, and I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'leave it' and 'place' commands so far.  I also use proper door etiquette and accept nice strangers without jumping on them at Mostly Mutts. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were good in my former home too. / My potty habits are good at Mostly Mutts and were good in my former home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like learning so you can train me to do a lot! I also like being active with my people, cuddling and playing.  A volunteer took me to play in a stream at the park and I really enjoyed that.  I also do well in the car so take me on some fun adventures!  / Other than the above-mentioned things, I’m a bit hesitant walking around traffic, but I’m getting better, and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m looking for a great family, that knows my breed, to have a great life with!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    April 24, 2024, 8:29 am

Story
Rex is a 1- 2yr old male cattle dog mix (7/2022) aprox 30lbs. Rex is coming out of his shell. He has been in rescue a few short months building confidence and learning skills to be forever home ready. He still takes a little time to warm up, but with a few feedings, he will be your forever friend. If you need to make an instant connection with a dog Rex is probably not going to be your dog as he sits quietly and wide-eyed in his crate at adoptions. He is quiet in his crate and considers that his safe relaxation place. He likes soft blankets in his crate. Rex goes outside to potty and walks with you around the yard jumping up to kiss the tips of your fingers. He will eventually become a snuggler, but that has to happen on his terms when he feels safe and loved. Rex is NOT good with cats. Rex would not mind a female dog that is close to his size to play with. adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##1912824##

Story
Kazi odds a six month old blue heeler FULL of happiness energy and love. She is always ready to play and cuddle. She must have a fenced in yard and an experienced adopter. She is very stubborn but very smart as well. Unfortunately I do not have a yard and believed I lived an active enough lifestyle for her but I am unable to give her what she needs. She gets along with my dog and a couple of my friends dogs but seems to be selective of her friends. She is NOT good with cats due to a high prey drive. She is great with older children, but due to her breed she is nippy. She has good bite inhibitions (nips softly unless very over excited). She will destroy soft toys eventually and should be monitored with them. She is crate and house trained and decent on a leash but will get excited and react when she sees other dogs or if people approach her for petting. Contact for more information

Story
Hugo is two years old and about 50 lbs. He was found by Hwy 75 in Canton. His people were found but their living situation was far from ideal to care for him. They said their goodbyes to Hugo in the hopes that he would have a shot at a loving forever home. Hugo has lots of energy. We do not have the energy or time to match his. He is house trained. He does fine in a crate. No food or toy aggression have been observed. He is very, very playful and loving. Hugo races in our backyard, chases toys and plays well with two high energy female dogs. Encounters with our elderly male dog have not gone as well. He seems easy to train if you take the time. He is picking up simple commands. He walks well on a leash. Storms do not bother him. I haven't seen him with kids. No experience with cats. He would do very well with a lot of space to run. He's really a wonderful pup.

Story
Meet Caleb, a handsome 2-year-old male weighing 41 lbs. Caleb arrived at the shelter on March 24, 2024, after being found as a lost boy with no one to reclaim him. He's a gentle soul, a bit reserved but incredibly sweet once he warms up to you. Caleb is quite the obedient pup, knowing commands like sit, stay, shake, offer his paw, and lay down. He's currently residing at Run #54, eagerly awaiting his forever home. Caleb has been neutered and will be microchipped before adoption. He's up to date on his vaccines, and a heartworm test will also be conducted before his adoption is finalized. Don't miss the chance to bring this lovable guy into your life! His ID is 655453.
