At 3 years old and over 70 pounds, Max is equal parts adventure buddy and oversized cuddle bug. He loves people, does great with kids, and never misses an opportunity to hand out hugs. His favorite things in life are sunshine, walks, and carrying his beloved ball everywhere he goes. Max enjoys exploring the outdoors, whether that’s a stroll around the neighborhood, a camping trip, or simply hanging out in the backyard. He walks nicely on leash, has excellent recall, and already knows how to sit—especially if his ball is involved. He loves his doggie friends but is still learning how to share his favorite toys. He does well with indoor cats, and would love a home with a secure fenced yard where he can enjoy the fresh air. 2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

Having done a great job raising her pups, she’s now ready to bring dances of joy and lots of cuddles to her forever home. She is delighted to run with you, play ball, or lounge on the couch. She is loyal, eager to please, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Sheba’s energy levels are high and would be too much for a home with small children. In addition to normal barking, she will make a series of high-pitched noises when triggered by something such as a strange dog. Very smart and food-motivated, she responds well to training.
