Story
Goji is a 6-year-old, medium-sized boy (about 43 lbs) with a big heart and lots of energy. He’s house trained, but like most dogs, he will have an accident if he isnt let out in time. Hes also not a fan of going #2 in the rain, so he does best with someone whos patient and consistent with potty routines. Goji would do best in a single-dog home with no cats. Hes good with older children, but he still jumps up when he gets excited, so he need continued training and someone who can work with him on manners. He should always be on a leash when outside, as hes energetic and easily excited. While he has high energy, hes also very affectionate and loves to cuddle once he settles down. In the past, Goji has shown fear-based reactivity when he got loose in a group of dogs and became overstimulated. However, he does great at the vet, does not need to be muzzled for handling, and is generally very manageable one-on-one. We believe he will do best with an experienced, calm owner.

Story
Romina’s story almost ended before it truly began. 💔 She had very little time left when we came across a random post and knew we had to act immediately. That moment of urgency is what saved her life. Now, this 3-year-old mini Aussie mix is getting ready for a brand-new beginning — she is being fostered in Des Moines, WA, thanks to one of our dearest adopters who opened their home and heart to her. Romina is active, playful, friendly, and incredibly smart. She loves puzzles, enjoys walks, rides and water! She does great on leash, is potty trained, and is an all-around fun, sweet companion. She would thrive with another dog friend to help release her energy and with a family who has the time, space, and commitment to fill her days with love and care and take her on adventures evrywhere! She was given a second chance just in time — now she’s waiting for her forever. If you feel a connection, send in an application and let’s see if you’re her perfect match. ✨

Courtesy Post. To apply for this dog please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Freddie Mercury is an adult cattle dog mix available for adoption through foster mom Kim Reno in the Yakima Valley, and his foster mom is happy to drive him to meet you if you’re not local. This pup would do best in a home without young children. While sweet and affectionate with adults, he can feel overwhelmed by fast movements and loud energy. In a calm, respectful environment his true loving personality really shines. Freddie Mercury is friendly, curious, and deeply affectionate — the kind of dog who brings warmth and joy into every interaction. He has a playful, happy spirit and a love for fetch that’s impossible to miss. Open a door, and Freddie heads straight for the ball, ready for his next game. His energy is enthusiastic but not overwhelming, making him a great balance of fun and companionship. • Good with dogs • Good with cats • Leash trained • Crate trained • Potty trained He’s an intelligent dog who enjoys having a purpose and will do best in a home that appreciates his joyful personality and is excited to keep building on his skills. One of Freddie’s most striking features is his incredible jungle-cat–like markings. Along the entire left side of his body — including both front and back legs — you’ll see bold, distinctive markings that continue across his belly and side. Look closely and you’ll even spot what appears to be a little “cat face” hidden in his coat, making him as visually unique as he is lovable. Freddie Mercury is ready to bring loyalty, laughter, and companionship to the right home — and he’s more than willing to travel to find it.

He is a petite, approximately 8-year-old heeler who is ready for a fresh start after being left behind when his family moved. Despite everything he’s been through, Boy remains incredibly loving and gentle — the kind of dog who steals your heart fast. Boy’s sweet personality: • Raised with kids and very gentle with them • Loves giving soft kisses and soaking up affection • Big fan of toys and belly rubs • Kind eyes and an irresistibly cute face • Neutered and vaccinated • Mostly ignores other dogs (may play once comfortable) • Does great with goats and sheep • Fine around horses with supervision • Not recommended for homes with cats Important care notes for Boy’s transition: • Should be considered a flight risk while adjusting to a new home • Will need a secure fenced yard and close supervision • Must be leashed and GPS-collared when outside (GPS can be provided) • Has only ever known one farm as his home and is still searching for the family he lost Boy is a loyal, tender-hearted pup who just needs patience, safety, and love to truly settle in. With the right home, he’s going to be an incredibly devoted companion.

Story
Oreo is a staff favorite. She is a very loving social dog. She loves long walks and having her belly rubbed.  Her ideal day is laying out in the sun and getting treats. She does get along with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. Oreo is often overlooked because she is an older dog. She would make a great companion or family pet. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Oreo can be transported any where in the United States and Canada. ##1499371##
