Story
Xanthi was found abandoned in a cardboard box with her sibling in Guadalajara, Mexico when they were about 3 months old. They were saved by a good Samaritan who called our rescue group for help. Since then she has been vetted, spayed and temperament tested. She is a very loving, playful happy-go-lucky pup. Loves to play with the ball, be around other dogs and people. She hasn't been tested with cats. She is good in the car and learning her way on the leash. She would make a great addition for an active family that has the time and commitment for her. She needs daily exercise and would do well in a garm or with a very active family, preferably with knowledge and experience with cattle dogs. She is being fostered in Snohomish, WA and is ready for a family of her own.

Story
Nacho was rescued as a stray in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was bleeding and in excruciating pain due to a cancerous mouth tumor. After 7 rounds of chemo, he made a full recovery. Cancer left a small hole in his palate, which doesn't affect his life quality or normalcy. He only needs a raised bowl to eat. He is a wonderful, happy dog who enjoys walks and being around people and other dogs. Would do best with someone that can dedicate him time and take him on adventures with. He is affectionate, balanced and a joy to be around!

Story
Woody is a super cute Australian Cattle Dog. He knows some commands and has crated well in his previous home. He absolutely loves treats and loves working on training with his handlers. He's very affectionate and friendly with his people. Woody has some typical cattle dog tendencies such as wanting to herd and chase people and animals. We think he would do best in a more rural home setting where he has some space to run and isn't overwhelmed by city life. If you're interested in meeting Woody, please visit the shelter between 11am-5pm Friday-Wednesday.

Story
Hi! My name is DK and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on September 13, 2023.I weigh 51.5 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.I haven`t shown too much interest in treats or toys while at RASKC. My caregivers mention that I`m all about the people and not materialistic :)My caregivers also mention that I appear to be potty-trained!I can be shy at first, but I warm up quickly and then show my energetic side. I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Due to that face I would do best in a home with older children. My personality color is RED. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Cassidy is the silliest girl! She approx 9-10mo old and weighs 35lbs. She is a very happy, wiggly, friendly girl that wants to greet and cuddle with everyone she meets. She is also a very active girl so she must have an athletically active home that will exercise her on a daily basis. Lots of long distant walks and hiking would be ideal. Once she’s a little older, she will even be a great jogging partner. Cassidy thrives on her doggy playtime every day and if she could, she would spend hours at a time running and wrestling with her pals. She would do best with another medium to large size dog in the home. Cassidy still needs lots of training, but she’s such a smart girl, she learns new things very quickly. She is crate trained and needs just a little more help with house training. A home with a doggy door would be great! Cassidy must have a fenced yard. Even though she gets along with children, with her exuberant personality she may knock over the little ones so kids must be over 10 yrs old.

Story
Adorable little Amos is a little 13wk old and weighs approx 13lbs. All 8 of his siblings have been adopted, and now it’s his turn. He is a curious, active puppy that is very interested in exploring everything around him, and he’s ready for an adventure! He is wonderful with people, including tiny toddlers, but he’s really more interested in playing with school age kids and other dogs. And lots of cuddle time is a must, too. He is sometimes a little independent so he’d also be a great family member for an adult couple. Amos is a quiet boy that will self entertain with his chewies and toys if his people are busy or if he needs to stay home in a pen for a reasonable amount of time. He only barks when he is playing with other dogs or if he’s excited about going outside. He does still need house training but this is a very smart little guy. He’ll learn his house manners in no time! According to dna, he is primarily Australian cattle dog / German shepherd / Australian shepherd, with a little of this and that in the mix. Amos gets along with dogs of all sizes and would love another playful dog in the home. He gets along great with kitties, too.
