Hello! My name is Katana. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready to find a new home!I can be a bit of a shy lady at first, but I really am so, so sweet. I`m a bit of a `velcro dog` and would like someone who enjoys being together all the time - snuggling, playing, and just relaxing. I walk pretty nicely on leash and would like a home where I can get outdoors regularly for some good, fresh air. I`m lukewarm on treats and toys, but that may change once I`m settled in a home. Right now I`m only kind of interested in squeaky toys. Mostly I just want you to squeak them for me, it makes me so happy I start bowing and bouncing all over the place. I weigh 42lbs and am considered a medium size dog. Due to my shyness, I may be most successful in a teen/adult home. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

This is Scorpio. This adorable doggie is a very easy going dog.  He loves the outdoors and will be a perfect camping buddy for someone.  He is gets along with other dogs (slow introductions always).  He is crate and leash trained.  He loves his humans.  This boy is ok during car rides too.  He is ready to find his loving home.  Are you his human? Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received. www.springbrachrescue.org ##1711245##

Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like an all-around great dog - who has energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the "Apply to Adopt" button. I will be waiting for you! To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

MEET GIGI! Gigi is a sweet girl with an old soul who will steal your heart. She is a little over a year old and currently weighs about 40 lbs., and is in a foster home in the Greater Seattle area. She is a wonderful medium-size dog for an active person or people. Gigi is housetrained and crate-trained. She walks well on a leash and is calm on car rides and in the home. She is such a well behaved girl it boggles our mind how she ended up as a stray in an overcrowded California shelter, where no one came for her. Without question, Gigi will be your companion through thick and thin. She is loyal and intelligent, and her favorite thing is just to cuddle up with you on the couch. She sits well for treats. Gigi loves kids, most other dogs and would do best with a submissive dog. We do not know how she is with cats. If you would like to meet this amazing girl, please email for an application. Thank you.

Story
Hi there, I'm Ellie! I'm a sweet and friendly 10-month-old small mixed puppy with a gentle heart, currently in a foster home near Seattle. I was saved from a California shelter, and my paperwork says shepherd but I could very well be an Australian Kelpie given my current size (35 pounds only!). My curiosity leads me to explore and learn new things, and my smarts help me navigate through life. I love being independent and can entertain myself with my favorite toys, but I'm also a playful cuddle bug who loves being around people. I love walks and do well on a leash, and I love belly rubs! I am a bit head/face shy and so need an owner who understands that until he/she wins my trust. As a result, I would do best in a home without young children (teens are OK). I do well with most dogs but am definitely an alpha girl, so my canine companion would need to be OK with that. My loyalty runs deep, and I promise to be your most faithful friend. I'm looking for a home where I can share my love and playful spirit. Adopting me means gaining a loyal companion who will bring joy and happiness into your life. I'm currently living in a Seattle-area foster home! Please email for an application.

These pups are in Renton, Washington too!

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees & charges but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees & charges we will accept PayPal. Talk about right place at the right time with our foster mum & for beautiful Flower, her sister Bambi & her mum Mia. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA for us rescuing a sweet soul when a family come along who were going to dump all 3. The usual disgusting story of, we are moving so we can’t take our beloved dogs with us story. Flower, Bambi & Mia were being dropped off at the shelter as they were moving & didn’t want them anymore. Thankfully our foster mum said we would help them & we did. Mia the mum had given birth to Flower & Bambi & at the tiny age of 8 weeks they were going to be dumped. Talk about cruel & heartless. Not to mention Mia of course was frightened & didn’t know what was going on? But those days are over for these beautiful babies. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this little angel, her sister & mum. Flower who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. After we got Flower all her care with her amazing foster mum she will be bought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Flower a little lady, how could anyone dump her & let her down is shocking. Her foster mum said she is so very sweet & full of sweet puppy love of energy. She is your typical puppy of eat, poop, play sleep. Flower just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Flower is such a good girl her foster mum said, she is super sweet, she is so quite & lives to be near you. You look at her & she looks straight into your soul. Flower is a good eater, she loves to eat & put on a few pounds since being rescued. Flower loves sleeping with her foster mum & wants to sleep with her & does not like to sleep alone. So we are only looking for a home where she can sleep with her family. Flower’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. Flower has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued so she is used to them. Flower rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & she rides in a car seat & is used to riding in one. She still needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Flower where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Flower loves other dogs & their company. She must go to a forever home with another dog present in the home who is young & playful just as Flower is. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. Flower is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love him as she should be loved & be patient with her & work on her potty training with her & teach her, her puppy manners. Flower has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. She must go to a home with other playful loving dogs in her forever home. Flower is roughly 1.6 years old & 28 lbs & is perhaps a spaniel terrier/Australian mini shepherd mix, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, being spayed by laser. Flower is, microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Flower, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her puppy shots & shots, microchip transport feed bringing her back to WA state, etc. Flower has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Flower was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were but we do know who her mum is & she is in a picture with flower & we have her in the rescue also. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Flower’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Flower potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Flower has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Flower & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Flower who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Flower has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Maggie is such a very soft gentle natured little lady compared to the huge personalities of her brothers. She is a little shy at first until she knows you then her loving, adventurous & curious puppy personality comes out. She loves, loves other dogs & playing with them & absolutely needs another dog in the home for her to thrive. She likes sitting on a chair & looking out the window in her foster home & taking it all in. She will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing herself around in comfy blankets. Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Morgan was one of the remaining 6 babies. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home in CA & once he & is siblings were old enough they came back to WA & now Morgan is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love him. UPDATE: We are absolutely devastated to say that Morgan the very loyal boy is yet again looking for his forever home. He is losing his home because he has become protective of his mum & dad in his own home & when they have guests over he has become fearful of other people & nipped at them & lunged at them while in his home. While with us in our rescue, Morgan was always a gentleman & loved everyone & was our vet’s favorite boy. Morgan is a rescue, we are looking for a forever home for him where he has a quite home now & not lots of guests. He does love other dogs. His previous family said: - Loves walks, puzzles, chew toys, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, and most of all fetch. - Sleeps until around 7:30AM, is mellow for a few hours, then is ready for physical activity and mental stimulation. Naps multiple times a day and settles down for the night around 8:00PM. - Eats 3 x a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Highly intelligent and very food driven. Training with treats has been very successful. - Has learned the commands come, sit, stay, lay-down, shake, go to your bed, off and drop it. - Prefers to be with his humans. The most time he has been left at home alone was 2.5 hours and he was not destructive. Morgan is shy & nervous at first when he doesn’t know you but once he warms up to you, he is SUPER sweet & just wants to be near you! He just wanted me to keep petting him so he was standing up to reach my hands. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky once he warms up to them. He is so precious one our wonderful ladies at our vets said while Morgan was there getting his medical taken care of. She also said she wants to say hi to Morgan when she comes in & he gets so excited to see her & he is such a sweet boy. Morgan is such a lovely natured little lad & compared to his other brothers who have so much energy. Of course being a puppy he is adventurous & has the curious puppy personality come out. He gets along so well with other dogs & will play with other dogs & he could be the king of his new house to if he got all the attention. He will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing himself around in comfy blankets. When he is comfortable his tail does not stop wagging. Morgan has an adoption fee of $855 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
