Her mum who we have in the rescue & rescued from death. Aussie was pregnant in a high kill shelter in CA & was going to be euthanized heavily pregnant because no one was coming to help her. Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Maggie was one of the 6 & the only female with her 5 brothers. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home & once she & her brothers were old enough they came back to WA & now Miss Maggie is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love her. Maggie is such a very soft gentle natured little lady compared to the huge personalities of her brothers. She is a little shy at first until she knows you then her loving, adventurous & curious puppy personality comes out. She loves, loves other dogs & playing with them & absolutely needs another dog in the home for her to thrive. She likes sitting on a chair & looking out the window in her foster home & taking it all in. She will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing herself around in comfy blankets. When she is comfortable her tail does not stop wagging. She is still a puppy & would still need to be taught her puppy manners. She also enjoys going up to her foster mum & resting her head on her & being close to her. She adores being held & kissed. She is such a lovely innocent girl. We also put Maggie into a daycare to socialize her with all different dog personalities & she has done well. Maggie’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She enjoys going out into the backyard in her foster home & running around playing with her friends & siblings. In CA she also enjoyed laying out in the sun & relaxing. Maggie has been great with her baths because she started having them with us in her loving foster home the moment she was able to so she is used to them. She loves both men & woman once she knows them. Maggie is a big eater as she is a growing puppy. She is not shy about eating once she is comfortable. Maggie rode beautifully in the car with her foster mum & enjoys a good journey & will also once she knows & trusts her new family to. She needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Maggie where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Maggie has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & did well with the cat in the foster home but doesn’t mean she will do well with all cats. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Maggie was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Maggie’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. UPDATE: We are absolutely devastated to say that Morgan the very loyal boy is yet again looking for his forever home. He is losing his home because he has become protective of his mum & dad in his own home & when they have guests over he has become fearful of other people & nipped at them & lunged at them while in his home. While with us in our rescue, Morgan was always a gentleman & loved everyone & was our vet’s favorite boy. Morgan is a rescue, we are looking for a forever home for him where he has a quite home now & not lots of guests. He does love other dogs. His previous family said: - Loves walks, puzzles, chew toys, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, and most of all fetch. - Sleeps until around 7:30AM, is mellow for a few hours, then is ready for physical activity and mental stimulation. Naps multiple times a day and settles down for the night around 8:00PM. - Eats 3 x a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Highly intelligent and very food driven. Training with treats has been very successful. - Has learned the commands come, sit, stay, lay-down, shake, go to your bed, off and drop it. - Prefers to be with his humans. The most time he has been left at home alone was 2.5 hours and he was not destructive. Morgan is shy & nervous at first when he doesn’t know you but once he warms up to you, he is SUPER sweet & just wants to be near you! He just wanted me to keep petting him so he was standing up to reach my hands. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky once he warms up to them. He is so precious one our wonderful ladies at our vets said while Morgan was there getting his medical taken care of. She also said she wants to say hi to Morgan when she comes in & he gets so excited to see her & he is such a sweet boy. Morgan is such a lovely natured little lad & compared to his other brothers who have so much energy. Of course being a puppy he is adventurous & has the curious puppy personality come out. He gets along so well with other dogs & will play with other dogs & he could be the king of his new house to if he got all the attention. He will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing himself around in comfy blankets. When he is comfortable his tail does not stop wagging. He is still a puppy & would still need to be taught his puppy manners. He also adores being close to people & so wants to be held & kissed. At our vets everyone told us how much they love Morgan & wished they could give him a forever home. She is very curious of new things and to have an adventure with you! Cleo is a smart baby that is ready to learn anything ! Barney Boy! Barney is the middle of the three siblings. He is funny, cute, smart, endearing....not pushy, not needy.... Barney is the biggest in size of the three siblings but he doesn't know it. He does not use his size and weight against his older brother Fred. He doesn't know that he is bigger and stronger than him. When he is done playing, he is happy to grab a toy and play with it all by himself. But, he LOVES to jump in and out of the kiddie pool with his brother and other dogs older and bigger than him. He loves to play with dogs and pups of all ages and sizes. And once he is tired, he is GREAT about choosing any kennel and catching a nap. I am sure he would also like to hang out on the couch with his human. He loves food and is not picky about it. His potty training is coming along nicely but considering his young age, his new family needs to know that this will be on going work until he is completely potty trained. Barney has all 4 parvo shots, bordatella shot, and rabies shot. He has been dewormed several times. He is neutered and has been tested and treated (if needed) and retested for coccidia and giardia. He is chipped. Barney is ready to bring some LOVE into your life! All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Transport is included in adoption fee** Callie is around 4 years old and believed to be a mix of Boston terrier and Cattle dog. She's a total love bug of a dog! With her cute little muggy smile, she is always happy to see her people and even more eager to please. She loves to cuddle and snuggle, and her favorite thing is giving lots of kisses if allowed. She's not a hyperactive dog, nor is she yappy. While she has plenty of energy for adventures, she also loves to curl up and settle down during movie nights or rainy days. She enjoys walks and adventures, and gets along with most dogs she meets. She likes to get flirty and chatty with new dogs, but she becomes fast friends after and enjoys play time! She currently runs around with 15 other dogs of all breeds and personalities and does fantastic. Callie is not a huge fan of cats, but she knows how to respect their space when asked. While she'd prefer a home without, she could tolerate a low key feline companion with supervision. She was used to a farm life situation and the barn cats were never especially nice, so we understand her wide berth. Callie is a lovely dog with calm children, so a family with human siblings she would enjoy! Callie is well mannered already but training is a breeze since she just wants her humans to be happy. She knows her basics, such as sit, stay, settle, down and kennel. She is crate trained, Housebroken, leash trained and learns quickly through food, toys, or affection! Hi,I am Junebug, a year old cattle dog little girl who weighs 53 pounds. My birthdate is 4/25/22. I was adopted quickly last summer; however, an unexpected divorce was the reason for my return in November, just heartbreaking! My foster family has welcomed me with loving arms ever since and has a whole host of nicknames for me because I am so full of personality! I have a cute double-barrel nose (Catalburun pups have this nose type!), a fancy fox tail, and speckled cattle dog legs making for one beautiful doggo! I LOVE balls of any kind but soccer balls are my favorite and I will play with one by myself for an exceptional amount of time. Going "bye-bye" is super exciting for me and I am calm and polite in the car. I love my human children and other playful dogs. I don't even mind the cats in my foster home!!! I am 100% full vetted and both house and kennel-trained, too. One more thing!! I really like watching movies with dogs (101 Dalmatians is my fave!), and it's pretty funny to watch my eyes shift when scenes change. I'd do best in a home with a dog who likes to play a lot and can keep up with my fun energy. The PNW would be an ideal location with all of the potential outdoor adventures. Junebug has been fully vetted, examined by a veterinarian, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. We provide our rescued puppies and dogs the highest quality veterinary care as our own pets. Matilda (Matty) is a 2.5 year old female Red Heeler mix who has been with our family for 1.5 years. She ranges between 32-35 pounds. She has FANTASTIC leash manners, and is a great running partner. She knows all the basic commands (sit, stay, down, hi-five, shake). She is a very smart girl, and an eager learner. She always wants to be with her people, and enjoys playing around the house, as well as snuggling up next to you for a movie. Unfortunately, Matty (Matilda) suffers from anxiety. When she first came to us, she could not even be outside in the city without extreme fear. We have been working with her, and her anxiety has improved immensely. She goes out for 3-8 miles of walking / running per day in the city now. Her ideal home would be one with an experienced dog parent, fenced yard, and a good amount of exercise. Matty has gotten used to inner city noises and high level of activity in her surroundings, but might prefer to be a little further from the city center.

Welcome Ginny to CCPAL Rescue. Ginny is about 5.5 months old. She looks like an Australian Cattle dog and maybe a white Boxer. She came from one of the local animal controls that was out of space and made pleas to local rescues to step up. CCPAL stepped up for her and her sister Abigail. She is really sweet, good with other dogs, good in her crate and a little bit shy. We are working on her leash manners but it looks like it is the first time she has been on leash. She will need a gentle training handler and she corrects easily. She is very willing to do what you want and very gentle when she is happy. This is a nice quality and with a tiny bit of direction will be an amazing adult dog. Someone that has the time, is gentle and patient would be her best home. She is nice to all people including strangers. She should be about a 50-pound dog full grown. Thin and tall but about 50 pounds is our best guess. Her coat is soft and she is not a big shedding dog. She is getting spayed and vaccinated and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this little angel, her sister & mum. Flower who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. After we got Flower all her care with her amazing foster mum she will be bought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Flower a little lady, how could anyone dump her & let her down is shocking. Her foster mum said she is so very sweet & full of sweet puppy love of energy. Talk about right place at the right time yet again with our foster mum & for beautiful Shiba. This is another one of those disgusting stories plus so very sad for Shiba. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA rescuing a sweet soul when a family come along who were going to dump Shiba. They daughter said she did not like Shiba because her eyes freaked her out. Shiba was her dads dog & had her since she was a puppy & they were all moving. The dad lived in the garage & he left Shiba with them that morning because in his new place he couldn’t have dogs. So the daughter wanted Shiba gone & was not willing to take her to the new place they were moving to. The usual disgusting story of, we are moving so we can’t take our beloved dogs with us story. Unfortunately our foster mum thought there was only Shiba they were dumping but they had 2 more dogs. As our foster mum was driving away down the road a young daughter in the car yells out “we have 2 more dogs we are giving to the shelter”, but her father told her not to bother the lady. So unfortunately 2 other dogs did enter the shelter & we don’t know if they made it out alive from the same home? We are so grateful to have saved Shiba. We can’t begin to express how much we all love this girl. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this precious girl? Shiba is 1 of our beloved rescues favorite girl in the rescue. She is the nicest girl. We truly believed her dad did love her very much. Medically, no & financially no. That was all on our shoulders to take care of. But her mannerisms tell she was loved. Shiba who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. Shiba was bought back to WA state from CA where we got all of her medical taken care of & she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Our foster mum in CA cried & cried the day Shiba left as she knew she was a very special girl. How on earth anyone could let Shiba down is beyond us. Especially since the previous people had her so long, it’s shocking. Shiba just wants to be loved & look look out, once you love her back you will have a new best friend for life. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Shiba is such a good girl her foster mum said, she is super sweet, she is so quite & lives to be near you. You look at her & she looks straight into your soul. It’s time for this girl to be the queen as she always should of been. Shiba is a good eater, she loves to eat & put on a few pounds since being rescued. Shiba loves sleeping with her foster mum & wants to sleep with her & does not like to sleep alone. So we are only looking for a home where she can sleep with her family or other dog friends in the home. Shiba’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She loves to go outside & sun herself & play in the backyard. She wants to be wherever you are her foster mum said. She will become your stalker. If you get up, she gets up. If you take a shower, there she is on the other side waiting for you. Shiba has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued & she was quite filthy when our foster mum got her. She is also so used to them & is good being dried by the hairdryer. Shiba rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & enjoys looking out the window & going places with you. Shiba walks beautifully on her slip lead. We cannot say enough how wonderful this girl is & we want the very best forever home for her. We are looking for a forever home for Shiba where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Shiba loves other dogs & their company & we have even put her into a daycare with all different breeds of dogs & she does so good with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. Shiba is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Shiba has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. She can be the queen or there can be other dogs in the home. Shiba is roughly 3 years old & 60.5 lbs & is perhaps a Australian shepard, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, spayed by laser by our wonderful vets on 9/7. Shiba is, heart worm negative, had a dental scale & polish & dental x-rays. She is microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Shiba, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her shots, testing her for heart worm, microchip transport fees bringing her back to WA state, etc. Shiba has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Shiba was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were, but it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Shiba’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Shiba potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Shiba has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. What these sweet souls see, hear & endure is incomprehensible. Marley was part of a breeder dumping dogs. He actually wanted Marley & many others gone immediately in Indiana but was willing to work with us. We have to move fast because unfortunately in these situations, when they want them gone, there is no messing around for their health & safety. Being breeding dogs they are money making machines only & their time had come to an end with this breeder. Beautiful Marley & her other 9 friends were living outside all day & night in cages. Once we knew about them, there was no way we were leaving them there. We organized to rescue all of them & our wonderful team drove & picked up everyone. Of course the were all so filthy & stinking so badly & some were matted to the skin & needing grooming immediately & medical care. He did not care & just wanted them gone. Rescuing the breeding dogs is an extremely expensive situation each time & it involves a lot of expenses in transportation & so much medical. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Marley how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home & her other friends. Marley was bought back to WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever family. Look at this stunning girl, she is such a sweetheart even though humans have been so bitterly cruel to her. Her world changed within hours of a phone call & a car ride along with her friends. No more living outside for this girl in a cage. She now adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. Nor toys, love, her own bed. All the things she should of experienced. In her previous foster home, she loves to be loved, held & cuddled. She has met several new people & been very social with everyone she meets. Her foster mum in CO said she was her love, the sweetest easiest girl. She loved her dearly. Marley is a wonderful eater. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her as she was never taught until we rescued her. She was just a breeding machine to make money off her back. This girl has been so good with all different breeds of dogs & has not met a dog she doesn’t like. We have tested Marley in a daycare environment & she has done well with both men & woman. Marley’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. She now adores going outside & having a run & play & the freedom to enjoy being outside. Marley rides beautifully in the car & is good with being bathed. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Marley as you can imagine spent the beginning of her life outside in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Marley where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Marley is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. We have spent far more on Marley with paying for her to get away from a breeder in Indiana to get her out with bringing her to WA with her boarding costs, transport costs, her medical care in WA, getting her spayed by laser, etc than her adoption fee even comes close to covering.
