Hey! I’m Bonnie!- I`m a sweet, wiggly, energetic girl with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops dancing when I’m happy! - I’m obsessed with playing fetch, and the moment someone even whispers the word “treat”, I’m already sitting pretty and being treat motivated is kind of my thing. - Whether we’re strolling through the neighborhood or exploring a trail, I’m all in! I make the perfect walking or hiking buddy because I just adore being by your side. - I’m a confident, forward kind of girl, so I’d love to meet any potential doggy siblings to see if we can become best friends and playmates.- If you’re looking for a fun, playful, and affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to share life’s adventures with you, come meet me today. I think we could be the perfect match! No appointment necessary!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
Meet Sonia - once fearful and shy but now spunky and full of life! Sonia has gone from scared in the shelter to safe in a foster home. She has been settling into the home where she is learning life has so much to offer her. Sonia is doggy-door trained and non-destructive in the home. She walks well on leash and responds well to corrections. Sonia likes to be sneaky and try to see what is going on in the neighborhood, door-dashing occasionally but recalls easily back to your home. She knows basic commands and would enjoy someone who can continue her training. She has done well with the resident dog in the home but would require slow, proper introductions. Sonia has done well with the children in her foster home, but any potential human siblings need to understand and respect her boundaries. Sonia is weary of new people so she will need time to decompress and build trust with you. Once she does she's a playful, loving girl. Sonia is a herding mixed breed dog and would do best with an owner experienced with herding breeds and their behaviors. She would thrive in a home that can be active with her, as well as provide structure and routine.

Story
Jack and his brother Luke (pictured on the left of first picture) were my mother’s dogs. She passed away in August and we cannot keep up with them. My wife and I both work and do not have the time or skills to train them and take care of them. Jack is very food motivated. Loves being scratched. He also loves finding a corner in the house or room and just being a lump on the ground. We’d love to find him a home with a large backyard and willing to take him and his brother. They love sunbathing and splashing in a shallow pool. They play fight but love each other very much. If you can only take one, please still apply. Thank you!

My wife and I both work and do not have the time or skills to train them and take care of them. Luke is very energetic. He loves to play and he’s really smart. He’s a bit stubborn and needs someone who can train a dog. He has the softest fur of any Aussie I’ve felt and while he loves cuddles he lets you cuddle for as long as he’d like (similar to a cat). We’d love to find him a home with a large backyard and willing to take him and his brother. They love sunbathing and splashing in a shallow pool. They play fight but love each other very much. Story
Hi! My name is Kaiba! I live in Maricopa, AZ Im an Australian shepherd to the core - extremely smart, very high energy, love people, specially kids, and all animals! My mom tried her best, but she doesnt have the skills or the right environment to allow me to live my best life. I need an experienced owner who will put the time and energy needed for me to be the bestest boy ever. I need my energy and brain power put to good use! I LOVE kids and all animals - I'm always supervised though. My goal in life is to love and be loved. I know all my commands! I can sit, lay down, get my toys, give you a besito, back it up, fetch, leave it, go to bed and even go to my kennel. I love my kennel, even if I cry in there sometimes.. thats cause I don't like to be alone. I'm terrified of fireworks and similar loud noises. I'm also very quiet, rarely bark if at all. If youre ready to have a fun time and get unconditional love from a 70 pound Aussie, hit up my momma and complete an adoption form!

Zeena is incredibly affectionate, loves being close to her people, and has the kind of intelligence that makes training fun and easy. With plenty of energy, she’d be a great fit for an active home, especially one with another playful dog since she adores romping around with friends. She’s already kennel trained, potty trained, and very food-motivated, which means she’s eager to learn and picks up new skills quickly. Zeena is looking for a family who will keep her mind and body engaged and give her all the love she gives right back. If you’re looking for a smart, cuddly, fun-loving companion, she might just be your perfect match.
