Story
Cheesy is a young, smart Australian Shepherd x Pittie mix who is ready to shine in the right home. This clever boy would thrive with an experienced, active adopter who can continue his training and socialization. Cheesy's journey hasn't been easy. In the past, he was tied to a heavy chain, which made him wary of people and other dogs. But he's come a long way! Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s extremely potty trained, knows heel, and can settle into a down position automatically if you're chatting with friends. He loves his crate and will go in on his own, especially if his bed is in it.His confidence is growing every day, and he's learning how to trust, feel love, and enjoy attention. He's highly trainable and picks up tricks quickly, making him a joy to be around. He's affectionate, loves attention, and is eager to be part of a loving home that will continue helping him build confidence and enjoy life to the fullest. All showings happen off-site with his foster, who has helped him grow into the confident, playful pup he is today. With the right adopter, Cheesy is ready to be the smart, loyal, playful companion he was always meant to be.To make an appointment to meet Cheesy, please go to yoloshelter.org/adopt.January 21, 2026, 6:48 pm

Story
Grayson is a sweet dog who is high energy and needs someone willing to work with him. He has been through a formal training course and responds well to an e-collar and does well on a leash and in a crate. He has a smaller bladder and needs to go out several times a day or he has accidents in his kennel. We just aren’t in a great position to give him enough attention with two little kids and full time work.

Story
Rosie is a 18 mo old high energy, lovable, loyal dog who bonds strongly with her person. She is intelligent and eager to please. Loves to play ball and is fast! She is has good recall (unless she see a squirrel or cat lol). I think she’d be good at agility training. I run and hike with her. I got her because she needed to be rehomed because of a landlord issue and was about to go to a shelter. I have a small dog and the original intent was for her to be my sons dog. Unfortunately she bonded with me and is wary men in in the house. Six months later she has not warmed to him and barks at him. If this is a retainable behavior we haven’t figured out the trick yet. I have discovered also that both Rosie and my other dog seem to be better in one dog homes. Both vie for my attention which causes tension in our home. I think Rosie would thrive in an environment that where she has lots of love and daily outdoor time with her person.
