Story
Mori is a very loving energetic funny, boy. 3 years old. Newfoundland Australia Shepard mix. He looks a lot like a Newfoundland but really behaves like an Australian Shepherd energy wise. Mori is obsessed with drinking water and is missing his side teeth. They never grew in. Beware you will have wet floors. He will do better in a home with older children. He has lots of energy. Weight is 85 lbs. He should be a home without other animals. Mori bonds quickly with everyone. He always follows us around the house. He is a very sweet lap dog. He is to date on rabies and most other vaccines. Vaccination records will be included with his adoption. He sits and lays down well. Crate trained. Comes when called by name (So good you won’t want to rename him. Lol) He needs a strong leash trainer as he will pull you over. I will be screening potential adopters. Please dm me your knowledge and history regarding these breeds.

Story
To apply or see more of Nellie, https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/nelliemama LOOKING FOR FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT, OR DIRECT ADOPTION Nellie was originally rescued in March 2020 from the Porterville Shelter with her 9 puppies. She was the most amazing mother to her little ones! Nellie was adopted in the spring of 2020, but now in need of a new home: She is great with kids and babies! She lives with cats and may do well with well-matched cats given proper intros, early separation, and management Nellie LOVES water, swimming and playing fetch Nellie is house-trained She would love a home with a big backyard and a flexible or WFH schedule While she lives with a dog currently, she got in a scuffle with her doggy sibling a few times over the past 2.5 years and the family feels they can no longer be in the home with each other anymore. While Nellie is, more often than not, good with dogs, we would recommend that she be your one and only. She is not reactive to dogs, but muzzle training is a great tool to provide peace of mind around other dogs She is timid with new people, but is gentle and bonds strongly with her circle. Nellie is 50 lbs, 4-5 years old, spayed, and vaccinated Nellie is currently located in CHICO, CA Interested in adopting? 1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application 2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call! 3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time. Follow facebook.com/heartsforpawsrescue & Instagram @heartsforpawsrescue for more! Story
Hide your picnic baskets, here comes Yogi! Yogi is a darling 3-month-old boy who is the epitome of adorable. With his big floofy hair and little face, he is simply irresistable. He is a little shy, so he is looking for a family who will be patient with him and help him gain more confidence. Yogi currently weighs around 6lbs and will likely be around 20-30lbs when fully grown. Yogi came to us after being found as a stray with his brother, Pepe, and brought to a local animal shelter. The boys were both super scared, so we wasted no time to scoop them up and make sure they were safe in foster homes. Yogi and his brother have been doing great in separate foster homes and would do best being adopted by separate families to ensure they get one-on-one socialization and training. Yogi is the braver of the two boys and has discovered that humans mean lots of tasty treats. He has turned into quite the little cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling with his foster mom after a day full of fun. His favorite pastimes include playing fetch and wrestling with his foster sister. He is an always-on-the-go little guy and needs an active family who can keep up with his puppy enthusiasm. Yogi is still very much a puppy and needs a family dedicated to continuing his training. He would love to go to group puppy classes to make new friends and to help build a bond with his new family. Yogi loves the other dog in his foster home and we think he would do best in a home that has another playful, confident dog to help show him the ropes. We haven't seen him around cats, but he may do well living with cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Due to his shy personality, Yogi would do best in an adult-only home. Yogi has been doing well with his housetraining, but he still is learning and needs a family who can continue with his training and expect accidents. He has been doing well being crated overnight and when home alone. Yogi currently lives in an apartment and could do well in a home with a yard, or an apartment with proper exercise.  Yogi is such a wonderful little man and we know he is going to make a great buddy for that perfect family. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today!   Yogi's adoption fee is $450.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to his or her age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. October 19, 2024, 12:52 pm

Story
Get ready to fall in love, meet Pepe! Pepe is a darling 3-month-old boy who is the cutest little ball of fluffy and energy. He is the definition of sweet and sassy. He is named after Pepe Le Pew due to his charming personality and because he can be a little troublemaker sometimes. Pepe is a little shy, so he is looking for a family who will be patient with him and help him gain more confidence. Pepe currently weighs around 6lbs and will likely be around 20-30lbs when fully grown. Pepe came to us after being found as a stray with his brother, Yogi, and brought to a local animal shelter. Yogi and his brother have been doing great in separate foster homes and would do best being adopted by separate families to ensure they get one-on-one socialization and training. Pepe is the shyer of the two boys and has a little spicy side to him when he is uncomfortable, but he  has discovered that humans mean lots of tasty treats. He has turned into quite the little cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling with his foster parents after a day full of fun. His favorite pastimes include playing fetch and wrestling with his foster sisters. He is an always-on-the-go little guy and needs an active family who can keep up with his puppy enthusiasm. Pepe is still very much a puppy and needs a family dedicated to continuing his training.
