Story
Maddie is as sweet as can be. she is 9 years old, she was diagnosed with Glaucoma and has been blind since she was 5. seeing her get around you hardly would know it. she gets around very well. Maddie is so loving, gentle and playful. Maddie just like to be close to her people. she will follow you around and hope for a cuddle. since she became blind she prefers to be on the floor, but she will sit in a sofa with you and cuddle. she loves to give kisses. Maddie would do well in any home. but because she is blind it would probably be best to not be with small children who leaves toys around for her to bump into. Maddie had a lot of training as a puppy, but since she lost her sight she really only hear basic commands now. Maddie does need to be in a home that does not have too much clutter. she needs to be able to find her way around. My ex husband has gotten very sick and can no longer care for them. I work 12-15 hr days.It is not fair to them to be home alone for that long.

Story
Max was born on April 10, 2021. He is an Australian Shepherd with a red/copper coat, blue eyes and a long tail. He is a medium-sized athletic dog. Max forms deep bonds with us and can become jealous if he doesn’t receive enough attention. He is very friendly, loves to cuddle, and still thinks he’s a puppy. We acquired Max June 29, 2021, without breeding rights. He is intelligent, energetic, and extremely loyal. Max loves the outdoors, especially camping, and enjoys joining my husband on trail rides while mountain biking. The time we acquired Max was also when my mom was diagnosed with dementia. Two years ago, I lost my mom and have not been able to return to work since then. Letting Max go is incredibly difficult, but due to my current financial situation and not working. I can no longer afford to care for him the way he deserves. Max is a smart, devoted, high energy companion-perfect for those who enjoy an active lifestyle and want a dog who is affectionate. Adoption fee negotiable!

Story
Maybe is the cuddliest, most loyal girl you'll ever meet. She does great with most dogs, knows basic commands and can be taught pretty much anything, uses potty bells & understands a surprising amount of language. She’s good on a leash, a great roadtrip buddy & as active as you want her to be. Once she trusts you, she is an absolute cuddlebug. She needs a child-free, cat-free home with few visitors & someone willing to put in the time to earn her trust. She listens & does fine in a fenced yard or in a bedroom. She does great at her doggy daycare. We tried every way to make it work with our new baby, but it isn’t possible. I just know there has to be an experienced dog person out there who would make a perfect second and final home for my sweet girl. She’s very well behaved, but her challenges are new people, prey drive & some herding behavior. I’ve worked with many trainers and behaviorists (never a vet behaviorist) and would be happy to pay for more training for the right adopter.

Story
Benny is an amazing 1 year old mix of Great Pyrenees, Australian Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Border Collie, German Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog. He is house trained, crate trained, good on leash, knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, hand touches, and off. Benny loves other dogs and would enjoy being with another dog but is good as an only dog too. He would do better with no cats but has lived with them. He knows to be gentle with kids but is still young and gets excited and jumps at times. He is not a fan of swimming and likes women more than men. He is the sweetest boy who loves to play with his toys, chew a bone, and cuddle up for a nap, with a pillow of course. He has a lot of energy and needs more attention than I can give him right now. He would love a yard to run around and play fetch in. He’s a super smart, sweet boy looking for his perfect match.

Story
Rosie is a 18 mo old high energy, lovable, loyal dog who bonds strongly with her person. She is intelligent and eager to please. Loves to play ball and is fast! She is has good recall (unless she see a squirrel or cat lol). I think she’d be good at agility training. I run and hike with her. I got her because she needed to be rehomed because of a landlord issue and was about to go to a shelter. I have a small dog and the original intent was for her to be my sons dog. Unfortunately she bonded with me and is wary men in in the house. Six months later she has not warmed to him and barks at him. If this is a retainable behavior we haven’t figured out the trick yet. I have discovered also that both Rosie and my other dog seem to be better in one dog homes. Both vie for my attention which causes tension in our home. I think Rosie would thrive in an environment that where she has lots of love and daily outdoor time with her person.
