Apollo is 6 years old. I originally got him from this site in 2020 after my wife passed away. He is a great dog for a single person very loving and attentive. He gets along well with kids (he plays with my great granddaughter who is 4) and adults. he is also a good guard dog and lets me know when anyone is around. I really hate to give him up but find myself in a situation where I have to downsize and will not have the area for him. He is very playful and loves to play keep away with a ball. He currently has a fenced in back yard and a doggy door which allows him to go in and out as he pleases. He is trained to standard commands sit, stay, stop, no jump.

His love for walking, chasing after a ball, and indulging in some bone-chewing sessions is truly delightful to witness. But the real show-stopper is when he decides it's time for zoomies – his playful sprints and twists are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Gemini Zod is seeking a home that appreciates his lively spirit and is ready to provide the love and engagement he craves. Guiness is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd. He would thrive in a home with an owner that has herding breed experience. He can be a little nippy initially with new people, but with proper introductions to someone new he is your best friend in about 30 seconds - it is really just the intial approach of a stranger that is challenging for him, which is not uncommon for herding breeds and should be easily manageable for someone with experience with herding dogs. Once he loves you he is a needy, affectionate, eager to please boy. He is already housebroken and well behaved at home. He would not do well with small children. He has potential to do well with another dog if the dog is polite and calm and the owner is experienced with intros, but he has never lived with another dog and does need some support to get more comfortable with another dog. He is all around such an affectionate, eager to please, driven boy that would thrive in an experienced home. Adoption fee: $150 He is neutered and current on vaccines. *NOTE: Guiness is part of our rehoming program - a diversion program that helps keep pets out of shelters by assisting their owners in finding new homes that are a better fit so they don't need to be surrendered.
