COURTESY POST: Sally isn't in HMF's care. We are posting her for another rescue. Sally is 3-4 year lab Australian shepherd mix who is a bundle of fun. She loves attention, playing with you, and going for walks. She has great has crate and leash manners. Sally is always excited to meet people and is food motivated. She is a VERY quick and eager learner and wants to please you. She seems to understand going potty outside. She knows the basic commands of sit and shake. Sally loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs and seems to be cat friendly. She is just a pleaser. Sally's forever home needs to have a fenced in yard with an active life-style or could just be a couch potato. Sally is just happy to be with you. Crimson is good with older children! No younger children or dogs, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with younger children and he attacks their other dog. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Crimson, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Crimson. Courtesy Post- Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Franklin, IN Meet Max! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 50 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Max is nervous around strangers! No dogs or young children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children or cats. His owner says he has some separation anxiety and will resource guard his food. Max bit the owner on the forearm after she tried to make him stop eating their other dog’s food. The owner is surrendering him because of this bite incident. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! Positives about Champ: He is house trained and crate trained. He does not have accidents in the home He doesn't chew on stuff unless its his dog toys. He knows that kids toys are off limits, he never chews on shoes, furniture etc. He does well in the car (but will bark at drive thrus) He stays still for baths Good to know: He's almost 6, born 8/30/18 Mini Australian Shepherd/Yorkie mix He eats Natures Recipe Grain Free Chicken or his tummy gets upset and he gets itchy He cannot catch treats haha He is an escape artist if your fence is not secure He's a good guard dog. Will bark at animals or people walking past the home He doesn't get in our beds but loves the couch Nervous at vet Flea free Likes to snuggle and follow you around
