Story
This decision has not been made lightly, but we are looking to rehome our girl. Ella is 9 years old and is a good dog. She is a pure bread Australian shepherd and loves to play fetch. She is protective of her space and her people so will "heard" visitors in the house but has never actually bit someone aggressively. We had to move in with my parents and although they gave a chance to keep her, they would like her gone as she has started to "heard" my grandfather because she doesn't like the sound of his walker and we can't have her knocking him over. We also have had 4 kids on 3 years (twins in March) and she is just having a difficult time adjusting to the decrease in attention. She knocks the older two over and has stepped on one of the babies. Because of these actions she ends up being locked in a basement most of the day, which doesn't help these actions at all. She just deserves better and I hope to find someone who can give her what she deserves as I am no longer able.

Story
Wyatt is available through Animal Rescue, Inc in New Freedom, PA. He would love a home with at least one other dog to play with all day, its actually a must for him. Wyatt loves to play tug with his buddies when they aren`t chasing each other around the large fenced yard. He is about a year old and has a lot of energy, so a job of some sort would be great. Wyatt does tend to herd other dogs and likes to play with your hands, though we have been working on that, so older kids/teens would probably be best. He loves to drink water as your pouring it. Wyatt sleeps in his crate at night, which provides a break for his companions too, but he does like to just chill in there off and on during the day too. Wyatt is eager to please and recently attended a board and train, so it is important that his new family will continue to reinforce what he learned there so he can be his very best self. Wyatt requires a fenced yard

Story
Meet Gracie: Gracie is about a 1 year 8 month old (as of July 2026) Australian Shepherd that weighs about 48 pounds. Gracie became a part of our rescue when her owners were no longer able to care for her. Thankfully, one of our foster families was ready to welcome her into their loving home. Gracie is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area and would love to meet her forever family! Gracie is very sweet and very cuddly. She's a super smart girl too! In the past week she has already learned sit, roll, spin, speak, come, down, and plays dead when you say "bang"! Gracie like to meet people and seeks their attention. She gets along great with dogs and loves to wrestle with her big, furry foster brother.    Gracie is looking for an active family that will run, walk, and exercise with her. She loves going on walks and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Gracie is potty-trained and will go to the door when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained.  From Gracie's foster: "Gracie is a Velcro dog, loves to follow me everywhere. She snuggles in bed and loves to give kisses. Gracie is the best dog you could ask for."   Gracie is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed.  If you are interested in giving this sweet girl lots of love and a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Special Need: Gracie has Central Diabetes Insipidus (CDI). CDI involves a lack of antidiuretic hormone, also called Vasopressin, which controls how the kidneys conserve water. (This type of diabetes is not related to Diabetes Mellitus which involves controlling blood sugar with insulin). Her treatment consists of 4 drops of medication in her left eye in the morning and 4 drops of medication in her right eye in the evening. It is recommended that her electrolytes are rechecked every 4 months or based on what her veterinarian recommends.  * More information about Gracie's diabetes and care can be provided.
