Story
Wyatt is available through Animal Rescue, Inc in New Freedom, PA. He would love a home with at least one other dog to play with all day, its actually a must for him. Wyatt loves to play tug with his buddies when they aren`t chasing each other around the large fenced yard. He is about a year old and has a lot of energy, so a job of some sort would be great. Wyatt does tend to herd other dogs and likes to play with your hands, though we have been working on that, so older kids/teens would probably be best. He loves to drink water as your pouring it. Wyatt sleeps in his crate at night, which provides a break for his companions too, but he does like to just chill in there off and on during the day too. He can take a bit to warm up to men, but mine have found that collagen puff treats help a lot. Wyatt is eager to please and recently attended a board and train, so it is important that his new family will continue to reinforce what he learned there so he can be his very best self.

These ladies are STILL looking for their forever homes! DNA attached!! Close to small breed!!! At 4 months old, these ladies are low riders and will stay on the smaller side. They are social, sweet, and love kids and other dogs (not cat tested). They have the softest fur and are the perfect lap size. They are content staying in and don't need a large yard (though dog parks would be fun) They can be leash walked and also don't require a fenced (if leashed of course). These pups are spayed, microchipped, have all 3 parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and are UTD on monthly preventatives. To add one to your family, please send us a detailed application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com! Foster location: Abingdon, MD

Story
Leila 6 month old SMALL side of medium / low riders Mini American Shepherd Mix Leila is available for adoption!! This sweet little lady has been a little difficult for us to adopt out. She has been with us since 6 weeks old, and is very shy meeting new people. She also doesn't do well in public. HOWEVER.... Give her 2 mins in your home, away from people she knows, and she will be doing parkour off of you and be your best friend. She is SWEET. She is CUDDLY. She is SMART. She is WELL BEHAVED. She LOVES other dogs. Leila can be head shy (but not aggressive), and therefore be with older kids that can respect boundaries. She leaves older dogs alone. Would likely leave cats alone. And plays with the ones that want to play. She potties outside, comes back in when called, and loves to be around people. Due to her shyness, we would bring Leila to your house. This house must be local to Harford County, MD or a surrounding county. If the meeting went well and you plan to adopt her, we would simply leave her there. For context, we sent her to a brand new foster home last weekend for some socialization and within minutes she had settled and made best friends with everyone. Leila is spayed, 100% vaccinated, micro hipped, UTD on monthly preventatives...everything. ahenis just waiting on someone to give her a chance. Please send us a detailed application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Jak was rescued off the streets back in the coldest part of winter. His owner never came forward to claim him. Jake is a really fun, energetic boy who gets along well with all the other dogs he has encountered. He hasn't been around cats but may be a little too energetic for them, unless the home was set up to provide escape routes for the cats, where they can safely take breaks from him. We don't believe he would try to hurt one but he thinks everyone wants to play like he does. Jak is a young adult, probably 2-3 years old, and we believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix. He has not exhibited herding tendencies, but he is very agile- he can climb anything! See the last photo for proof. Jak would excel in agility training. He is also very affectionate and good natured, he just sees the world as one big playground. He is good with kids, house trained, crate trained, and knows a few basic commands. He is fully vetted. He's ready to find his forever family!Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
