She understands responsibility. She understands teamwork. She understands that somebody has to keep things moving in the right direction — and she is more than happy to volunteer. Through no fault of her own, Emma was surrendered in a small town and sat patiently at the pound for months. Just waiting. Watching other dogs leave. Hoping her turn would come.
