Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you? Smoosh face alert!!! If you want a cutie, patootie smoosh face then look no further. Alessia aka Ruka is one of the sweetest, loving (craves affection) and gentlest dogs ever met. She is excellent with all humans... even the little kind. As of now it is unknown how well she would get along with other dogs. She has shown absolutely no aggression towards any dogs so as a precaution, I would recommend using a muzzle. Alessia loves being told she's a good girl. Secretly, I think she thinks she is a Princess. She is very good getting her face washed and going for car rides. You will often find Alessia sitting (like a human) and watching TV with her little human friends. AND Alessia, of course, loves TREATS!!! Some more great things about Alessia is she is crate and house trained. She's such an amazing dog and has the cutest personality. She has the absolute cutest wiggle butt ever!!! Anyone would be lucky to have her.

Willy is looking for his forever home! Coming in at 3 years old, 19 inches, and 50 pounds (yes, you read that right), this fat ham is ready to find his people. Willy has an affinity for his blanket, short walks, and Yak Cheese Chews. He does fantastic in his crate, 100% potty trained, and is quiet as a mouse (unless the dishwasher is running). If his underbite, crooked ear, and stubby tail didn’t win you over, he’s hoping his personality will! Apply today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. Bueller came into rescue the day after Thanksgiving and was quickly diagnosed with heartworm disease. He immediately began treatment, which lasted three months and required strict crate rest. During that time, he was also diagnosed with dry eye and will need special eye drops to keep his eyes comfortable. As soon as he completed his heartworm treatment, Bueller was able to get his "bulldog special" - neuter surgery along with nares and palate surgery - to help him breathe easier. Now that he's recovered, he's feeling great and ready to start the next chapter in his life! Bueller does well with other dogs and cats. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle him a bit, but he is slowly learning that the outside world isn't so scary. Location: Centerville, OH Food: Royal Canin GI multifunction Hydrolyzed Medication: NexGard Plus Harvey is a three year, 9 month old bully who is pretty laid back and loves everyone. He is a touch underweight and could use a couple extra snackos until he puts on a few pounds. We have been feeding him just a bit extra each meal to slowly get him where he needs to be. Harvey loves a good walk and does really well with almost no pulling at all. He gets along with all the dogs in our house and even ignores our house rabbit. He is a super happy guy. In fact, he is so happy that he has missing hair on his tail from wagging it so hard against the bars of his crate. He is crate trained and potty trained with his only accidents the first couple days here (different environment and schedule so to be expected). He would be good as a single dog or with a dog sibling or two. Due to his size and energy I’d recommend older children who are not easily knocked over by a bigger dog. He really is a happy go lucky guy who wants to be by your side and see what you are doing at all times.
