Woody is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than gentle belly rubs and cozy evening snuggles. He’s a loving companion with a playful, active side that will keep you smiling. This energetic pup enjoys a couple of walks each day and absolutely lives for fetch, especially with tennis balls. He’ll politely drop the ball near your feet for another throw, but he also has a hilarious habit of entertaining himself by tossing it, catching it, and zooming around in happy circles. He’s a big fan of his toys and is learning to keep his chewing focused on those instead of household items. Woody is fully potty trained and sleeps soundly in his kennel at night. He’s also great for baths and warm-water rinses, making his grooming routine a breeze. He’s an intelligent dog who already knows “sit” and is working on “down.” His leash manners are coming along nicely, and with continued guidance and a patient adopter Woody will blossom into an even more well-mannered, obedient companion. From Sneaker's Foster mom: I have a never-ending list of wonderful things to say about Miss Sneakers! First and foremost, she is incredibly sweet and responds wonderfully to training. She’s not only treat-motivated, but also thrives on praise—which is so easy to give, because she’s truly a good girl. She’s completely potty trained and adapts well to both a house or apartment lifestyle. Sneakers already knows several commands: sit, lay down, off, wait, and—of course—“good girl.” She’s gentle with her toys and prefers stuffed animals over puzzle toys. Her favorite snacks are biscuits, bully sticks, and meat treats—though she’s not a fan of peanut butter. She gets plenty of exercise with 2–3 walks a day (plus some running!) to help burn off energy. Behavior & Socialization: Sneakers is considered reactive, meaning she gets nervous around new people and may bark to try and keep them away. But in the short time I’ve had her, she’s already shown amazing progress with consistent, positive exposure—especially in outdoor spaces like parks, where she can take things at her own pace. She simply needs time and patience to build trust. Once she does, she bonds deeply. ‍ Bonds quickly with women ‍ Slower to trust men Would do best in a home with older kids (she’s a little jumpy and sensitive about her tail) No cats due to prey drive (not officially tested) Best as the only dog—she’s shown nervous behavior around others Her Ideal Home: Sneakers needs a calm, structured home with patient humans who’ll give her space and support as she decompresses. Once she feels safe, she is the sweetest soul. She loves: Tummy rubs Hand-holding (yes, really!) Walks in the park Sunbathing Taking treats ever so gently She’s a total mama’s girl, and I know she’ll thrive in the right adoptive home—one that sees the loving, loyal dog she already is. Pinto Bean is already kennel and potty trained, showing just how quick and eager he is to learn. Like many young pups, he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes you’re a friend, his tail starts wagging and his sweet, affectionate side shines through. He’s the kind of pup who bonds deeply and loves to be near his people. When it comes to other dogs, Pinto Bean does best with slow introductions, as he can be a little nervous at first.
