I love the snow and being outside, playing with the two other dogs in my foster home and chewing on a good bone. I live with cats now but don’t really care about them. I’m almost potty trained, will go in a kennel (but would prefer to stay out) and sleep in the big bed all night long. I’m very food motivated and will do anything for a treat. I’m super smart and can’t wait to learn all the tricks! I love my people but can entertain myself as long as I have a variety of toys. Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Merlin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Merlin (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I got my name cuz I'm pretty good at magic. I magically appeared in my foster mom's fenced yard and they are still trying to figure that one out. I can also magically fit myself into my favoritest bed from when I was smaller. I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm around 8 months old and I come in at about 30lbs, which should put me at a fantastic size when I get myself all growed up, although I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger(35-40lbs). I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I love people both tall and small, love playing with the other pups here at my foster home but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! I am one smart cookie (yes, my foster momma tells me so!) as I'm already house and crate trained and I know how to use the doggie door. That lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away. I've got a beautiful coat that is pretty easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of fella. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for your home, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org With lots of sincere tail wags and puppy kisses, Merlin💗💗

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Jackie Box, the sweet and soulful Kelpie/Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as Texas! This 3-year-old girl was found as a stray at a Jack in the Box but is now ready to trade fast food scraps for belly rubs and a loving home. House-trained, quiet, and incredibly well-behaved—Jackie is the ultimate companion. She’s shy at first but warms up fast, eager to please, and full of gentle affection. She’s leash-trained, crate-trained, great in the car, and never destructive. Jackie is still learning about toys and the joy of play after spending most of her life outside, but she’s catching on! She’s calm indoors, doesn’t jump on furniture, and sleeps peacefully by your side or in her crate. Due to her past, she prefers to eat separately from other pets, but she’s incredibly easy to train and loves to learn. All she needs is a patient, loving family to help build her confidence and show her the good life. If you’re looking for a gentle, intelligent, and devoted best friend, Jackie Box is your girl! Jackie Box  is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 2/21 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9AM to 12PM. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Hi! My name is Dally but you can call me handsome, or good looking, or baby boy I am just happy to be called anything from people! I have been with my foster family for a little while now and all I ever hear them call me is “good boy”. In the short time that I have been with my foster family I have learned so many things! Like that I LOVE small humans, I have heard them called kids. I also love other dogs and have done well with cats! I have learned a few manners like sit, up, down and come Dally (well okay most the time I remember this one!). I have dogs in my foster home now and I love to play with them. My foster mom says that I adapt to their attitudes really well. If they want to play I am all in and if they just want to hang around and be lazy I am happy to just snuggle with them and keep warm! One of my favorite things about being in rescue is the access to all the bones and toys a good boy like me could ask for! I am great at sharing them with the other dogs in the house as well. My ABSOLUTE favorite thing about being in rescue is know that I will always have a full belly and treats to munch on! My foster mom says this makes it easier to teach me new tricks! I am house trained AND trusted to not be in a kennel when my foster family leaves for the day. They did try out the kennel when I first arrived and I just wasn’t feeling it. I would sing the Blues until someone came home. So now I am left out most of the time and I do okay when I can just watch out the window waiting for them to come back! See I told you I was a good boy! The only thing that my foster mom would say I need to work on is staying in the yard. She puts me on a tie out to keep me safe but I would do well with a 6 foot fenced in yard so I could roam free while still being safe!  I do really well with the tie out though and have become the master at untangling myself! I would really love to find a family of my own! So if you are looking for a smart, affectionate, playful pup I’m your boy! Correction… GOOD boy!
