For years, they knew love and stability until their adopter moved across the country and left them behind in poor care. By the time they were rescued, they were heartbreakingly underweight and neglected.   With good nutrition, medical care, and kindness, Pheobie and Maxus have made a beautiful recovery. They’re now healthy, happy, and medically cleared, ready to enjoy their golden years in comfort and love.   Both are just under 40 pounds  - the perfect medium size for cuddles and companionship. They have gentle, affectionate personalities and a deep bond with one another. After all they’ve been through, they truly deserve to spend the rest of their lives together in peace and safety.   Pheobie and Maxus would do best as the only dogs in the home, where they can soak up all the love and attention they’ve missed. Story
Ruby had been with us for almost 10 years, she is 11 now. We recently moved and cannot keep her so we are looking to rehome her. She is an indoor dog, very mild mannered and is house-trained....she will tell you when she needs to go out by going to the door and barking or going in circles. She is about 11 years old but still very active and likes to play with toys etc and fetch. She has had a a previous hip/leg injury from before we adopted her but it doesn't prevent her from doing anything she just walks a little funny. She is great with kids and grew up with ours along with cats and another dog. She has no history of any aggression towards people or animals but she does bark a little when someone comes to the door which we always liked as a warning with having kids at home. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
