Story
We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped

Story
Major is an incredibly sweet, playful, intelligent dog. He’s 1 1/2 years old. Loves people and other animals. He’s shy at first, but warms up quickly. He needs a good home where he will be loved and spoiled. He’s a comfort dog. He loves warm, comfy places to sleep, lounge and cuddle! He loves playing chase and tug of war with other dogs. Best guess is he’s a Basset, Beagle mix. Pictures should help. He’s a very handsome boy and deserves the best. He loves to run. He loves to go for walks. Loves treats! Knows how to sit. He will make an amazing addition to a loving family and he deserves to have that.

Story
Henry is the baby brother of 4 boys. As a puppy he slept in his oldest brother’s bed and he grew up rough-housing with the boys. 3 yrs ago his dad was diagnosed with kidney disease and his health rapidly declined. Henry went from having a house and a yard to play around in, to having to be housed in a cage at his grandparents for long periods of time while his dad went to dialysis treatments. Then he moved into a townhome. There was much less space and the neighbors threw things at him as they walked by his small backyard. After a while of this, he only liked his family, everyone else, he barked at. In November his family moved into a mobile home community which meant, no space to run around and constantly smelling, hearing, and seeing people to bark at. In December, his dad passed away and his brothers have been having a very hard time keeping up with taking care of him. His nails have grown long and he’s too protective to take to the vet. Please help Henry find a good home.

Story
Meet Bagel! Sweet beagle boy Bagel was found wandering on his own in rural North Georgia. We can't know for sure what led to this sweet boy being on his own in the country, but our best guess is he was possibly dumped for flunking out of hunting duties. Sadly we see that often and knowing this boy's loving disposition, he wouldn't make much of a hunter! We are estimating Bagel is about a year and a half old. He's great with other dogs and just as sweet as can be. He's looking for an experienced beagle home to call his very own! Interested in adopting? Story
Skips is a five year old beagle with the traditional loud beagle howl. He follows his nose everywhere and so he would be best placed in a house with a yard. He does tend to be fearful and timid, but can be won over with lots of treats. Once you've earned his trust you can look forward to the best of cuddles. We're really looking to place Skips and Marty (the husky in the picture) together in the same home, but if we have to split them up, Skips would be best placed in a home with another smaller dog. It may take time to adjust, so we're looking for something transitional where we don't just drop him off and say goodbye. We truly want him to grow and love his new family. So if it takes a few weeks that's ok! We're also ok with an open adoption! haha Would love to see pics of him from time to time living his best life in his new home. ✔ Housetrained ✔ Knows commands "sit" "come" & "kennel up"

Story
Bruce Wayne is a vibrant and lovable 12-year-old senior Beagle mix. We adopted him from a Beagle rescue in Tampa, FL when he was 6 weeks old. He's house-trained, wonderful with kids, and loves running outside chasing the squirrels and birds away. Unfortunately, his days of fighting crime as Batman are behind him *wink. He's been the most loyal companion and was even good with our late cat Sasha Fierce, who passed due to cancer after 14 years of life. With a heavy heart, we are looking for a new home for Bruce because we are moving and unfortunately won't be able to take him.
